Bought these since I'm on a tight budget and I'm learning how to do eyeshadow, and honestly I'm surprised how good they are for the price. Quality: I washed each brush and saw no shedding. I also didn't see any shedding when I applied eyeshadow, so that's a big plus. The bristles and settings all seem sturdy so I don't think they're ever be a problem unless you're really being brutal to these brushes. Firmness/Softness: the angle and smudge brushes are firm and work great for more controlled work. The blending and shading brushes and soft and slightly looser which worked perfectly to blend my eyeshadow. I wish I could get good pictures of my eyeshadow but it's pretty subtle and my lighting is kinda poor right now. *Also, the bristles are very soft and don't irritate the skin so I might look into their liquid foundation brush (my current one is kinda pokey). Size: Since the brushes are double sided it saves a lot of space and I would recommend it for travel or if you're just looking to save some space. The brush sizes are good too and I didn't have an issue using them on my eyelids. Style: I think the brushes look cute and have a good feel when you've working with them. It's a simple design but I'm not looking for anything super fancy rather than functional, so these work just fine for me. Conclusion: If your new to makeup or looking for some travel brushes, I would recommend this brand and I personally don't have any regrets about my purchase. Read more

I know these are technically makeup brushes, but I use them for painting custom banners — and they work perfectly! The bristles are super soft but firm enough to give me smooth, even strokes every time. They’re great for detail work and blending, and I’ve had zero issues with shedding. The handles are comfortable to hold for long periods, and they’ve held up beautifully through multiple uses and cleanings. Honestly, they’ve become my go-to brushes for my banner work. If you’re a crafter or artist looking for affordable, high-quality brushes, don’t sleep on these! Read more

Most of my make-up brushes are from this line. I have several type that I’ve purchased over the years. I’ve found them all to be a good quality, with good bristle density for each brush’s intended use. I’m not a daily make-up wearer, so that’d be a factor in their longevity, but I haven’t needed to replace any of them. I’ve never had any problems with bristle loss - or any other complaint. If / when I need a new brush, it’s usually for a different type of application, not because my existing brushes have worn out. Read more

I love the quality and dual-ended brushes included in the “EcoTools Eye Enhancing Duo Brush Set”. I love that EcoTools uses sustainable materials and, as with all their brushes, includes a reusable bag. I love the value these brushes represent. Unfortunately, this set’s reusable bag is so snug and it is so difficult to remove the brushes – or to put them back without damaging the brushes - that I hate it. The bamboo handles and bronze-finished ferrules are attractive; the brushes’ bristles are soft. Each end of the two brushes included is identified with respect to its intended use. One brush is for shading and defining; one brush is for blending and smudging. The length of each brush is about 6”, so they are more compact and easier to pack than some more expensive brushes. Because EcoTools recommends cleaning the brushes weekly, but cautions against getting the ferrule or handle wet, I have been using Ecotools Makeup Brush Cleansing Cloths. These work very well for cleaning multiple brushes. They also make it easier for those of us who are not diligent about cleaning makeup brushes to do so regularly. Read more

This is my first time buying these and now the only brand I will use. My eyeshadow doesn’t drop down all over my face. The brushes hold the eyeshadow and provide easy application. Soft and strong brushes. High quality handles and it’s a huge bonus that each one has a brush on both ends that frees up space in my brush organizer. I love these. Read more
