I use an ice roller on my face occasionally to combat oily skin, but more importantly to help regulate my nervous system during autonomic attacks (very similar to panic attacks). I previously had one of the cheap plastic ones but the head eventually expanded too much in the freezer and broke! I wanted to avoid another plastic roller that would fall apart and end up in the landfill. I love this roller! I store it in a plastic bag in the freezer. I really thought the metal part would get too cold for my face, but it’s just right. It’s worth noting that it does emit quite a very quiet squeaking sound when rolling which is not a problem for me but may be a deal breaker for some. I really love that it isn’t made of plastic. The metal roller piece seems to stay cold for around as long as my plastic one did and the wood handle is very comfortable to hold—it’s smooth and attractive. My only complaint with this is I wish the roller was a little bigger! The size does make it easy to travel with though. I used to use a frozen ice roller which feels amazing but I don't have the time these days to remember to put it in the freezer. The stainless on this one stays cold and gives a similar feeling when I'm on the go. Overall feels high quality and is a staple in my skin care routine. Read more
