I got the large print backlit wired keyboard with the seven (7) color LED backlight because I saw my older kids’ gamer keyboards that were backlit and thought something like that would work for me during my before and after business hours work when my desk light is off. I have my desk lighting in my office set to turn on and off at a certain time of day (it’s on a timer). Lately, when the lights turn off I can’t see my keyboard. I am a proficient typist (or keyboard user) and know my way about the keyboard without looking but here lately it seems when lights are out I am missing keys or hitting the wrong ones. So, the backlit big print keyboard I think is a help to my issue with lighting and seeing the keys. Also, the raised bigger keys are helpful with my long nails and keystrokes. The keyboard was easy to get set up to my laptop. I just unplugged my keyboard from the docking station and plugged the backlit keyboard into the docking station (just swapped the keyboards out). I didn’t need the kids or IT to help me which was great. The keyboard specifications are as described and the keyboard seems of quality and the keys are quiet when punched and toggled. I am typically a loud typer and I did not hear a lot of clack click clack when I typed on this keyboard. The keyboard fit nicely on my desk. I can now work at my desk before and after my timer turns my near desk light on and off which will make it easy on my eyes. The rounded and ergonomic keys made typing on this keyboard less stressful on my wrists, forearms, and posture especially on my more busy keyboarding days. I like that I can turn the backlight on and off on the keyboard (the yellow and green are my favorite colors to have lit up). There is a 24 month after purchase support which is something that gives me comfort in knowing there is support for questions and issues. The keyboard can be used on different types of computers and laptops just check and make sure that it is compatible for your computer or laptop. So I can use it on my different laptops (work and personal). The value of the keyboard is very reasonable to me because the keyboard has a lot of features and is compatible for use on different types of computers and laptops. Overall, I really like this backlit keyboard. Read more

There are things I love about this keyboard: backlight making keys visible at night, large print for further visibility, ability to dim the backlight, different color options like red at night for less eye strain, a separate number keypad, several alternate functions, and comfortable clicky keys. However, there are also things I was not aware of before I selected it: unable to lock function keys, no dedicated keys for adjusting screen brightness, no dedicated sleep key, the up arrow being too close to the shift key causing me to accidentally delete sentences and paragraphs often, and no function key on the left side making it impossible to engage some of the alternate functions with one hand. The F11 key has a lock symbol, but it locks the entire keyboard so nothing can be typed on it. I guess if you have a cat that likes to walk across your keyboard, that might be useful to you, but it is of no use to me. I have had to find work arounds for some of the things I feel are necessities like easy screen dimming for night time use and function lock. I was able to download a couple of apps that help, but they are not as effective as the dedicated keys on my previous keyboard. I am trying to find a way to continue using this keyboard just because of the high visibility with backlit keys and large print that my old keyboard does not have. I also try to keep all lights red in my room at night, and being able to have a red backlit keyboard is really a plus to avoid disturbing my sleep afterward. The current price of $19.99 is definitely a good value for this keyboard, but you may need to evaluate and come to terms with the unavailable keyboard functions to be satisfied with it. For me, function lock is non-negotiable, and it is surprising that keyboards are still manufactured without it. One or two inches could have been added to insert a left side function key, brightness controls, a sleep key, and sufficient space between the shift key and up arrow key. I guess the keyboard that has all the features I need in one package has yet to be invented, but when it is, I will probably buy two. Read more

This EDJO Large Print Backlit Wired Keyboard is definitely plug and play, and the keyboard touch is good. The print is so easy to see, and the round keys make it fun. I am perhaps a little less likely to mash an extra key using this compared to a keyboard with square keys. The colors are adjustable in brightness and hue, though you do have to go through all the colors to get to the one you want or turn the backlight off. Everything works as it should, though I haven't tried the function keys. Cord is plenty long. Price at time of review is $19.99, seems to be about the going price for a lit keyboard of this type. I wanted a keyboard that I could see in the dark, so I didn't have to turn the room light on if I got on the computer late at night. This one is exactly what I needed. The backlit keys show up in the darkest room, enabling me to see the characters clearly. The letters are also very large and bold, which adds to the visibility. The keys are quiet and have a nice touch. They feel very intuitive. The keyboard was easy to install in about 30 seconds with the attached USB cable. Adjustment were also simple, with brightness and a variety of attractive backlit color options. At under twenty bucks, this is an excellent value. Very happy with this EDJO Large Print Backlit Wired Keyboard! Read more
