I had two major abdominal surgeries at the same time, with a long incision in front and one on the side. The gown was so soft against my stitches and not hard and scratchy like the hospital's would have been. This one opened in front for many post-op checks, and I didn't have to sit up or twist to get ties undone, which was impossible with the incisions I had. It was easy to unbutton and button up again. The short sleeves allowed for my IVs and blood pressure checks and were so cute with the scalloped edges. I had to walk in the halls post op before going home and all the nurses commented on how pretty it was. I got the powder blue. It was like being dressed and I didn't feel my back side was showing.
