This is a great little device that does a great job at shaping the nails. It is very easy to use and gives the nails a very nice rounded shape. Don't have to worry about nail clippings as every part of the nail that is trimmed is caught in the waste tray. I am a senior and sometimes our fingers or hands or a little shaky. I could not get this unit to charge, it worked about a min one time and never worked again after I tried to charge it. The unit should have been tested at the factory before being shipped. I think the unit will work on fnger nails but not really toe nails as you can not get the large nail into the unit to trim. I would not recommend this. Read more

Does not work as fast as the ads show. Takes a lot of patience to use it and has to be held just right. I thought it would be a safe way to cut my handicapped daughters nails without the fear of cutting her and while it works it does take patience to trim and smooth. Nail scissors work faster and better but they also can cut her if she moves too much. I wouldn't buy again. Read more

It's not the game-changer I was hoping for. I misunderstood the concept: I thought you insert the nail into a shallow slot and it produces an even curve. Instead, you hold the nail up to the grinder and manually move the nail around to shape it yourself, which can make for awkward results. Maybe it's easier with lots of practice, but from the get-go the possibilities are disappointing. On the other hand, the manufacturing is better than I expected, and the polisher is a surprising and fun addition to the device. I am hoping to get nicer, more consistent results with more practice. But I am older with not very steady hands, so I'm not expecting miracles. Pros: Works as advertised. Grinds and polishes. Fairly easy to figure out. Well made. Cons: 1) GRINDING TOOL - I can't achieve a very evenly curved, smooth nail edge. The nail gets shorter and shorter as I try to even edges and remove jagged bits. So ultimately, old-fashioned nail file or clippers give more control over the result and are in fact less time consuming. 2) POLISHING TOOL - With ridged nails like I have, the polisher isn't great: it produces some remarkably shiny spots but not a smooth overall surface (instead, a mix of dull + shiny areas as though you randomly dabbed the nail with a bottle of clear nail varnish). Comparing it to a four-sided manual buffing block: the latter is better for removing ridges; whereas, this device yields a much glossier finish. Probably it's best to buff the old-fashion way first, then polish with this tool. I don't regret buying it. But I was way too enthusiastic and overestimated its capabilities. Read more

I found this nail file to not work as advertised. I actually returned it. It seems well made just very hard to operate. I wanted an easy way to file my toenails as I’m a senior citizen. This did not work for me at all. Read more
