I love having this little pseudo fireplace and fan in my apartment with a remote control to boot. It also has other features like Child block and a timer. Also, the flame is optional if you want it on or off. Unfortunately, there’s no option to just have the flame without turning on the fan or the heater so that was a bummer Read more

I bought this model specifically because it advertises a built-in thermostat — expecting it would stop heating once the room reached the set temperature. Unfortunately, that's not how it works. Instead of shutting off the heating element, this unit just switches to the lower heat setting and keeps blowing warm air, even when the room is already warm. In my small space, that meant it never truly stopped heating, which defeats the whole purpose of having a thermostat. If you want a heater that automatically stops heating when the room is comfortable — like many others do — this isn’t it.
