The media could not be loaded. So I'm actually using this as a bikini line trimmer and it does work well. It seems powerful enough and doesn't clog with hairs, and I like that it's waterproof so I can feel more comfortable using it in the shower. So far the battery has stayed at 100% after a week of use, though I only use it for tops 3 mins or less each time. It's nice and compact and easy to hold at various angles and travel with. The only thing that drives me a little crazy is the on/off button is very hard to work and it takes me multiple presses to turn it off. Read more

This little shaver exceeded my expectations. It's compact and appears very simple at first, until you start looking a little closer. When it arrives, it is in a simple black container with a white sheath showing an image of the shaver and a detail of the foils next to the words "Five Kinves." A mis-spelling on the front of the box is typically not a great sign, but stay with me. After opening it, the shaver is nicely packed in a foam insert and protected by a plastic wrap. There is an operating manual, a brush for cleaning the foil head, a USB A to C cable for charging, and the shaver with a plastic shave-head protector. The shaver body housing is super shiny; mirror finish. It attracts fingerprints, but when you wipe them away your finger oils make an iridescent sheen which looks pretty cool. The plastic foil head cover is nothing fancy, but keeps the top somewhat more protected. The blades on top are well made. There are three foil blades that get all the short hair and two more blades spaced between them that get the longer hair. It makes quick work of facial hair and leaves a near-razor close shave. For cleaning, it is a breeze. The entire foil blade head is connected to the body by two strong magnets, so it won't go anywhere while in use but pops off easily when pulled. Just blow it out or run it under water and it's clean quick. The body of the shaver feels hefty and solid, but not so heavy to make it burdensome to hold. The button on the front turns it on low speed with one press, high speed with another, and off with a third. Holding the button for three seconds puts the shaver into a travel lock to prevent inadvertent activations. All button actions will make the hidden display above the button illuminate and the same display shows battery percentage. The shaver cuts cleanly with no snagging or pulling, no cuts, and no irritation. It is also surprisingly maneuverable to get in close to the nose or ears, or around the neck. As you shave, the hidden display continues to update you on the battery percentage. In the end, if you can look past the mis-spelling on the front of the box, I think you'll be pleased with the actual product. Read more
This shaver is fairly easy to use, charges quickly, does a very good job shaving, and is very compact for portability. I can only think of 2 minor negatives. The first is that the power button requires a distinct and firm press, but that also means it's less likely to be turned on by accident when packed in a bag. The other is that due to the compact travel size, it's not ideal for holding if you have larger hands, but that's a tradeoff I'm fine with. Long term durability remains to be seen, but overall I'm very happy with this. Read more
I like the design and features of this shaver. It looks modern and the build feels solid. The LED display, dual gears, and waterproof body are convenient, and the compact size is great for travel. However, the actual shaving experience was frustrating. It did not shave smoothly, even on shorter stubble, and required multiple passes. My skin felt irritated and it left redness on my face. The blades sometimes pulled or tugged, which made it uncomfortable to use. The shaver is visually appealing and has thoughtful features, but the performance and comfort are below expectations.
