The packaging is very beautiful, the shaver is small and does not take up space, making it very suitable for putting in a suitcase or carry-on bag. The travel lock design effectively prevents it from being accidentally started in the luggage and running out of power, which is very practical. The LED display can clearly show the remaining power, and the body is also waterproof. Due to the small blade head and motor power, which is usually not comparable to large flagship shavers, there may be a pulling sensation, and repeated shaving is required to get a clean shave, which is not very efficient. Works well right out of the box. Shaves clean. Very portable. Read more
Great traveling shaver. The shaver is pretty quiet and cuts pretty close, great for touching up your already shaved face. Battery life was decent. The shaver is USB-C and the LCD screen was easy to see The shaver was easy to clean and using it in the shower worked great due the waterproofing. Great shaver for the price. Read more
This is a handy rechargeable foil shaver. Compact enough to travel with quite easily. The shaver has a safety feature that locks it from accidentally being turned on. This is particularly useful if you just throw the shaver in your luggage, backpack, pocket, etc and it prevents the razor from turning on. To unlock it just press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds...a countdown timer displays on the front face of the shaver while counting down. Also displayed is the percent of remaining battery power. It charges using a USB-C cable which is included in the zippered clamshell case. You'll also find a small brush that can be used to brush the hair out of the foil and the blades. Also nice is that this is waterproof so you can use this as a wet or dry shaver. Use it in the shower if you want. Also easy to run the shaving head under the faucet to clean it of loose hair. It's a nice looking, compact shaver that does a decent job shaving. My concern is there is no mention of where to obtain replacement blades for this. You will eventually need to replace the blades whether you use this daily or just occasionally. If you can't find replacement blades you will at some point in time have a dull, useless shaver. Read more
I have a few foil shavers, and there are mainly two varieties: one is the “floating file blades” that move back-and-forth and lightly shave a gentleman’s (or lady’s) daily growth. Then there is the spinning-head type, which works similarly but tends to “float” over the contours of the face/head/arms/legs, and more-so with a greater number of heads. I chose this one, the first variety because I needed a small rechargeable (and waterproof) shaver I could pack for travel (usually for 3 - 5 day trips). The company, SEIGA, makes a solid, portable, and (IPX7) waterproof shaver that has every feature (and a few more) than I have on my “essential” shaver list. For full disclosure: any shaver I travel with is my 3 - 5 o’clock “tune-up” shaver. I always start my day, even on the road, with a single-blade shave, but without exception every day I need that 5 o’clock shadow clean-up. This robust foil shavers “does the trick”: it is smooth, easy-to-clean, has a long-life charge (for my 1 - 2” shave), and it “travels well”. It has a “lock” feature that prevents accidental bumps on the shaver (packed loosely in a Dop bag or with other gear) from starting it up. The lock feature and the power feature are all using the same power button, and this little shaver has a numerical AND image ticker as it’s SMART LED DISPLAY. The cover is a magnetic cap, it is pocket sized (3.31”x2.44”x1.22”), and from a fully-drained state (who does that?) it takes about an hour and a half to get to 100%. Because the fully-charged SEIGA foil shavers provides 100+ minutes of shaving “therapy”, I don’t even need to pack the charging cable for a week-long business trip. The design and look is “gamer-like” (as is the SEIGA logo), and this rechargeable shaver will probably work just as well for those who make it their singular daily shaver. Read more
