I ordered this mini electric razor for my husband and teenage son. My husband has thick facial hair, the kind that grows back over night. My teenage son has fine light facial hair. My husband first tested this razor after not shaving for 3 days. The razor did not cut the hair. My husband said no foil razor does, so he did not fault the razor, but the claims that this razor cuts longer beards he did not find to be accurate. He then trimmed his facial hair and the razor worked great. His face was very smooth. He said this razor is best for hair under 2mm in length. He said he really liked the razor and if he uses it daily it works very well to achieve a smooth look. He likes the compact size of the razor, the fact that it is travel friendly, and has the loop to hang it. My son had the same experience as my husband. The razor did not cut the longer hair on his face, but once it was trimmed the razor did an excellent job of creating a smooth appearance. My husband noted that if you charge the razor with the cap on you cannot see the light which tells you that the razor is charged. Also there are no replacement blades offered from the brand (that we could find). He said the razor was reasonably priced, so perhaps you just buy a new one when the blades dull.
