I’m returning this after sharpening 2 knives. The grinding wheels are spring loaded for a little flex against the blade which is great. However, on the unit I purchased, the cotter pin that it is spring loaded against on the shaft is misplaced. Basically I assume a factory defect where the shaft was drilled in the wrong spot such that the wheel slips the shaft beyond the cotter pin when pressure is applied. Unit almost immediately binds. Grinding wheels are high quality for the price is about the only positive thing I can say. Read more
