Phone: Google Pixel 2XL. The Google Pixel series has OTG enabled by default. The lighter was uncharged when it arrived. I plugged the USB C end into two power outlets that charged other battery devices. I plugged the lighter into my phone. The lighter never charged and the phone completely ignored the lighter as if it was not there. Not recommended due to a few significant issues: ridiculously limited battery charging option, no covers for either end, and no locking method such as a 5-click to prevent the lighter from being switched on accidentally. So I have an S22 Ultra, When this USB C device is plugged into my phone I get a power light on the USB lighter, and a message on my phone stating "High Powered USB Device Connected, Cannot access to this device. Connected device needs external power supply" OTG is of course working, because I use external hard drives. As soon as you press the blue button on the USB lighter, it turns red for a split second then turns off, and the only way to get the blue light to turn on again is to unplug and re plug back in. It looks as though you are not able to use this on power banks or charging bricks either, the lighter will not light up AT ALL when trying in multiple power bricks, or battery banks. This is not worth the trouble for something that should be plug and play. I thought this would be useful, but its not. EDIT: I am updating from 1 star to 2 because I was able to find one wall power brick that this worked on. But out of the 8 Power options in my home including 3 different types of phones, and 5 Power source options, only 1 worked, and since it needs to be plugged into the wall it makes this not useful to me.
