I really like this heated lunch box. I've had to make a few adjustments. Dry food placed directly on the bottom of the container will probably be scorched on one side and cold on the other. I've discovered that "wet heat" works best, so for something like my frozen breakfast burritos, I put them (wrapped in foil) in a small, shallow baking dish with a little water (about 1/4 cup) underneath, and it will steam it to hot in about 45-50 minutes without scorching anything. So yes, it has a few shortcomings, but overall, I like it. The fabric "insulated" carrying case that it comes with is pretty flimsy and mine is falling apart after only 6 months of not-quite-daily use. Hoping to find something better to replace it with, but I wish they had included something better in the first place. Read more

Works as advertised, heats well, handle is handy, and metal insert pulls out for easy refridgeration since you can't put the whole device in the fridge. Plug goes in a little tough and if you leave it heating too long it will make the bottom of the food crispy or burn it (if left waaay too long/few hours), but if used as instructed you will enjoy this a lot! Plug it in only when you will eat after the appropriately listed time (in book) between plugging it in and then eating - depends on whether food is room temp or frozen. Read more
