I am very pleased with this shaver, and pleasantly surprised. My Norelco stopped working just after the warranty expired, when the power switch stopped turning it on. It had never given really close shaves. This shaver gives very close and comfortable shaves, and has a digital display of the percent of power remaining. The battery works a long time. It also came with two extra heads, one for trimming sideburns (there is no pop-up blade for that as in some shavers) and one to trim nose and ear hair, even though those parts are not mentioned on the box or the instruction booklet and I did not see the nose/ear hair trimmer mentioned even in the Amazon ad. I highly recommend this product, and would order it again, but I am marking my rating down one notch because of a few oddities. One feature that does not work is a travel switch to lock the shaver from accidently turning on, however I have never had a shaver that had such a feature so I do not miss it. There is no bag to store the shaver in, and I would have paid a few dollars more to include that. The same product is strangely offered by the same company in several different listings on Amazon, ranging in price from $29 to $34 (I paid $31). The customer reviews of these identical shavers vary, but are all high. The brand name listed on Amazon, Viatia, does not appear on the product, the box, or the instruction booklet, and there is no contact information listed for service. It seems that this is a product that is skillfully made, and compares favorably with better known brands at very competitive prices, but probably by a small company in China that does not want to be contacted except through Amazon. This product gives a very nice, smooth shave, it is light weight and easy to handle. My only two complaints, and they are minor ones, are that the hair trimmers are not on the shaver and have to be placed on. An easy process, so not a big deal. The other issue is that the charger does not come with a plug. It is strictly USB. Again, not a problem as I have plugs available. This is a wonderful product. Great value for the price. At age 69, a person begins to not have as smooth a skin on his face as he once did and blade shaving, which I have done my entire life, leaves cuts. So, I have selected this shaver based on the consumer reviews. I find the shaver does a good job, but the shave is nowhere nearly as close as a blade. Maybe in time I will learn the "tricks" that will make for closer shaves. Read more
I've tried every type of shaving razor except for straight razors, and this one is the one that left my skin feeling the best after a shave. This doesn't leave any small cuts or ingrown hairs, and the best part is you don't even have to be that careful while using it unlike other types of shavers. With other razors, you have to pay attention to which direction and angle you're cutting at, but with this you just press it on your face and rub. Of course, like all electric razors, this one works much better for short stubble than longer hair, so you have to shave more often, but that isn't an issue with how easy this is to use. Read more

I've never used an electric shaver in my life. Then I bought this YQ 500 intelligent shaver and I have to say I'm impressed at how well this little unit works; really impressed. This electric razor does a better job than my normal drag across and all around your face razor! I didn't even have to use shaving cream and right out of the box it gave me the cleanest, smoothest shave I think I've ever had! Totally recommend this product. I don't know how well those $200 ones work that walmart sells but with this unit I think I'll never have to spend $200 to find out!!! Read more
EDIT-It quit charging and won't work anymore. 😒 This electric razor is great. I have actually purchased 2, one for my husband a while back and he absolutely loves it. I just recently purchased another one for my step-dad, he's on hospice due to cancer, this razor makes it so easy to shave him while he's laying in bed, it is gentle on the skin, but gets a very close shave. It is very easy to clean and the attachments are easy to change out. The price is definitely worth it. Read more
The first thing I like is that it has three different attachments, so you don't need separate devices to trim your beard and your nose/ear hair. It's easy to use, and very easy to clean. The main shaving component gives a much more pleasant shave than any razor i've used in the past. Overall good value for the money! Read more
