I bought this mini electric razor mostly to keep in my bag for quick touch-ups, and honestly it surprised me. It's very compact and lightweight, so it’s easy to carry around without taking up space. The shave is actually pretty close for such a small device, especially on the neck and around the jawline. Battery life has been good so far, and I like that it charges quickly. It’s not meant to fully replace a regular razor if you have a thick beard, but for quick cleanups or when traveling it works really well. This shaver is not only the cutest little thing ever but it works fabulously. Let's break it down to the four F's. Form, Function, Fashion and Finance. Form: It's very compact, easy to hold and easy to turn on and off. The battery indicator is super easy to read and gives you real time information constantly. The head is magnetized, so when you clean it, it just pops right back on, and it stays on. And one thing that was not in the description when I bought it, was the hidden mirror! It's under the cap. So clever and so useful. In addition, the case that came with it is awesome. It's a semi-hard case with a zipper and a wrist lanyard. I think it's so good, it could save the shaver even at about a 6 foot drop or more. Function: It shaves like a champ. The heads are very smooth. It has not yanked one whisker yet or taken any skin. It's small enough to get under the nose but big enough to get the whole job done quickly. It also shaves very close without having to do too many passes. Fashion: The shell is made of this beautiful shiny gray metal, smooth and expensive looking. The head is a very nice orange. Which I love because nearly everything out there made for men is blue or just boring black. And the case is not only highly useful, it's good looking. Finance: I got it for $43 with a coupon. I think that's a deal!! I can't afford those 100 dollar units and I was getting frustrated with the reviews on the cheaper units. The size of this thing is amazing. It cut efficiently. I was thrilled to have this as my travel shaver. I think I used it three times since I purchased it and just kept it in my shave bag as a travel shaver. I was very disappointed that it wouldn't turn on when I opened up the case again, (only 3 days after Amazon's 1 month return policy expired). I gave it a one star review as there was no link to contact seller on an item past the 30 day return policy. They offered a refund. I accepted. I bought it again to give them another chance and edited my review from 1 to 4 stars. If this replacement lasts, then it deserves a 5 star rating all the way! great design, nice custom case for it. This shaver is a home run for everyday use, or travel shaver, or camping shaver. It's not loud, the blades spin fast, no need for 5 passes for a close shave & no rash. I've tried this shaver dry, wet & with shaving cream. The ease of use, easy to clean, magnetic head return & small built in mirror. Battery life is a winner with LEDs for power left display. Overall not great. Unboxing: well packaged. Hefty box in plastic. Molded protective shell. Comes with hard faux leather case, charging cable, cert of authentication, manual, warranty, and shaver. Build: Questionable. Feels solid, looks cool. USB c charging on the bottom. ( Don't set it down wet) Magnet hold of the cap and the blades are reliable. I do not actually see the metal blades inside. The connection between the motor and blades are all plastic. ( Started to see wear after just 3 weeks). The power/ lock button has a very light detent. I accidentally turned it off a few times at first while shaving. Usage: I used it almost everyday on my bald head, cheeks, and on my neck For almost 4 weeks. The irritation they talked about never went away. You have to move very slowly to get a smooth shave. A regular razor is about 2X faster. It clogs pretty frequently having to clear the blades at least once mid shave even if I just shaved the day before. Very difficult to clean properly. The housing where the blades are have a lot of plastic holding everything together keeping the hair trapped inside it. Impossible to dry after rinceing the blades. It takes just a long to clean as it does to shave. The shaver would not cut after about 4 days of growth, 3 days was pushing it. Positives: long battery life and fast charging time. From 0% to 100% it took about 45 minutes to charge. I would have to charge it about every 10 days. ( About 150 minutes of run time.) It looks cool. It has a locking function. The magnetic closure is great. The case is nice. Negatives: The irritation never went away. Hard to clean. Terrible operating button. The shaver stopped working completely after 26 days of use, it stopped turning on, stopped charging, just completely died. Summary: Do not purchase it's not worth the hassle. I used to have a Remington shaver like this but you had to plug it in. That worked way better. Read more
I've had a number of travel shavers, all worked but required long time to shave going over the same spot many times for a clean shave. This shaver is doing a much better job and is very well made. Nice travel case and shaving head cover/protector. A little heavy compared to others due to mostly metal construction. Read more
