I needed an effective way to reinforce the training of my Golden Retriever pup. He didn't always come when he was called, and depending on the distraction, he would sometimes actually bolt after the squirrel, or run to the neighbor on the sidewalk, whatever caught his attention. The first time I used the tone signal, he stopped in his tracks, turned around, and came bounding back to me! It was actually pretty comical at first, but he has learned the command now, and comes when he's called. I never even had to use the shock signal, though I did use the vibrate once when he was not paying good attention. Overall, a very good product for me and my dog. I feel much safer with him when he has this collar on. I also like the camo color...it seems to blend into his blong fur and you don't even know he's wearing it. Would highly recommend. Read more
Range is very good. Battery life is strong to leave turned on for weeks. Instant response to button presses. When you want something simple and reliable for training this is perfect. Especially for the price. The front cover over the collar section will fall off but no big deal. Also dog has swam many of times wearing it with no problems. Read more
Well made,comes with 2 types of collars we use the belt style with the holes. Works well has a Audible beep, vibrate and of course a shock for those stubborn dogs. Only thing I wish it came with is a third set of prongs a little bit longer our baby boy is 135lb rotty and his Coat is pretty thick, we either have to have the collar really tight or what we did is shave a tiny spot at the base of his neck so the prongs can make contact without the collar being super tight. Fortunately he’s very smart and we’ve only had to shock him maybe 3 times on low setting I don’t think we’ve gone above a level 3 now the beep is plenty to make him think twice about his actions. We loved these collars they have worked great from the first time we put them on our two Goldens. VERY Long Battery Life! My only complaint is one did go out! We are in contact with SoDog and I will update this review with customer service experience! Still an awesome collar and hopeful we won't have to haggle with them about a replacement! I have multiple dogs and have tried multiple collars to aid in training and recall from livestock. This is the most user-friendly collar I have ever used. We have a duck dog, cattle dog, and inside pet dog so we have definitely put this collar to the test. Since getting this collar I have ordered 2 more so each dog has their own collar. I will say if the collar is left in reach of your pet unattached to a collar that the thin plastic holders that keep the collar in place do easily break with no support behind them. However, I feel that should be expected. I have used these for almost 3 years, and I have easily gotten way more than my money's worth out of them. Read more

*UPDATE* only a few months in the collar got slightly wet from splashing NOT SWIMMING and now doesn’t work! So disappointed really loved this item if it would have actually been waterproof as advertised! So I’m out my money now have to start researching all over again, frustrating Prior post Works Great for my Boxer Puppy that learning his Boundaries. He gets easily distracted and I only have to use the beep or vibrate and he responds immediately! The shock part would help in specific situations but on day to day training the vibrate is Perfect! I originally bought one that’s a couple hundred and this one at less than 40 works way better than the expensive one! Read more
We have been using this collar for about six months and loved the two options for the collar itself. It is versatile, compact and effective for training. It has really been a blessing in training with the sound and vibrations. We charge it over night but it usually lasts a few days of wear! Highly recommend for the price point and quality!!!!
