Like just about any other medium to thick towel in this price range, they do shed. Still not a deal breaker for me anyway. Now if your a bit anal about something of this nature, the only way I know around this is to purchase a VERY high cost towel. Not sure if even that will solve this issue, but that`s just my opinion.
