The color is exactly as advertised. I purchased these so as not to ruin our “regular” hand towels by three 13 yo girls who will be visiting for Spring Break🙏. The instructions say, wash on delicate in cold water and dry on delicate on low. An old lady's tip.....with anything 100% cotton and colored......I use 1/2 of white distilled vinegar in the wash cycle to help set the dye.
