Looks great but I'm concerned that the light weight of this will not allow it to survive 3am cat crazies. One small bump and it's spreading far and wide. Trying to come up with a way to add weight to it without it showing. Read more

Not a real float, but looks very oceanic and works nicely with a seaside theme. Thickish glass, not too fragile. A low-watt bulb installed (not included) gives a very cozy feel and not too bright. The base has a hollow opening about 4 inches wide. One could place a little tiny terrarium inside with sand and tiny shells. It has a roll switch on the cord.
