This is a very well made denim skirt/skort. The denim is high quality and had just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable but keep its shape throughout the day. I absolutely love the Y2K style and it also reminds me of the 80s. This skirt really takes me back, in the best way! My husband loves it too and said it reminds him of when we first started dating. Lol You can pair this with some cute wedges for a bit of a more dressed up look or tennies for a more casual vibe. My only issue with this skirt is the same thing others have mentioned; the sizing of the skirt and the sizing of the shorts feel way off. The shorts underneath feel 2 sizes smaller than the skirt. If they were a spandex or stretch cotton, that wouldn't be an issue but they are denim also making it sort of uncomfortable. I am considering cutting them out. I am 5 8 1/2, 155 and ordered a medium which is my usual size. The skirt fits great but the shorts are snug. I got it in dark blue and the color is really nice and accurate to the product photo. I threw it in the wash on a regular cycle and it washed beautifully and didn't fade I really do love this skirt. This is a really nice skirt. The denim actually feels like jeans, but with stretch to it. And it actually has pockets! I do wish the pockets in the back were a bit deeper, but was pleasantly surprised that the pockets on the front are actually a decent depth. I was really excited about this being a skort, with shorts underneath as that is not something I've seen with jean skirts before. However, the execution of the shorts leaves something to be desired. First off they are made from a different denim material that is much thinner. Second, they are super short so they barely cover my butt cheeks. I'm not sure they are actually very useful. Third they are tighter than the skirt. The skirt fits perfectly, the shorts are on the verge of being too tight. Fourth, they are a different color than the skirt. I purchased the light blue color and it’s gorgeous because it’s so versatile. The skirt is so well made with perfect stiching and working pockets front and back. The material is nice and thick like traditional jeans and not like jeggings. The material stretches so nicely everywhere including the waist band so works really great if you have a little pooch. The reason for the 4 star is because of the little shorts underneath. I originally got size M which is my normal size but they were little tight and the shorts were pressing hard against my belly so then I got size L which ended up being large in general and not the right size. My advice is not to size up and to stick with your regular size if you can live with the shorts underneath (possibly if you don’t have a flat belly) being tighter than you like.
