fit true to size. they’re comfortable (but I also can slip my insoles in them without them being too tight). I own A LOT of platform shoes and these are pretty lightweight yet durable. they have a zipper closure and it works well just be careful not to get it caught on the fur. they’re obviously gorgeous and they always make a statement! While I love the shoes and they are perfect for my cosplay and they are the proper foot size, even a bit bigger, its really tight around my calf and I almost couldn't zip it up all the way, in fact the only reason I was able to zip it up was to push down on my skin. When I stood up and walked it was very tight to walk it around my calf. I can fix it with some extra fabric but I thought I would warn that these might not be for thick calf people unless they change the shoe and fabric pattern for the boot to work better. Read more
