Nice little trash can that opens automatically when you need it to. It’s rated at 2 gallon capacity which is perfect for a small office or bathroom trash can. I thought it was pretty funny that they even provide liners for you, 6 GALLON LINERS! I just had to laugh at this. The only flaw I found was there is no ‘on off’ switch. So when you go to pull out the liner the lid opens and closes for you while you put in the liner or take it out. I guess you’re not supposed to have the lid anywhere near where the proximity for your hands are while changing the 6 gallon liners out. Like I said it’s a nice little trash can and does what it’s supposed to do. It is 100% plastic, it’s sturdy and it looks good and should be easy to clean when needed. The motion detection works very well and the battery compartment has a rubber cover so liquid should not have an effect on the battery compartment under normal use. It uses 2 AA batteries. How long they last is an open question. The sensor is always waiting so how much that drains the batteries over time I will have to wait and see. If it had an on off switch I would give it 5 stars.
