As a mineral sunscreen with zinc oxide, it's gentle on my sensitive skin and provides fantastic protection. It leaves a natural, slightly matte finish. The only caveat is the limited shade range; the single tint works miraculously for light to medium skin tones, but won't suit everyone. Bottom line: An exceptional physical sunscreen. Elegant, effective, and great for daily wear. Highly recommend if you're looking for sun protection that also perfects your complexion. Read more

Great sunscreen. Glides on very smoothly and is 100% mineral so does not have any chemical irritants to hurt my eyes. I can apply this to my eyelids, unlike chemical sunscreens, and the eyes are where the skin is thinnest and most susceptible to sun damage and aging. Slightly tinted which helps smooth my complexion. This is now my backup sunscreen, which quite honestly, I was thrilled to find. I've tried dozens of mineral sunscreens. Other than my favorite, an Australian brand, and some goopy zinc ones, they all sting my uber sensitive skin, but to different degrees. This one stings very, very slightly.I can wear it though, which is a relief, since my favorite one is frequently unavailable in my shade. The pluses of this one are that it goes on super smooth and silky, and sits well under makeup. I doubt most people would find it even mildly irritating. The big minus is ... THE PRICE! It's more than twice the price of my number one choice! And for me, the mild sting is another minus, but again, I don't think that would be the case for most people. Also, the tint doesn't actually provide any coverage or blurring effect for my skin, which I miss But, all in all, a wearable, high quality product. Love it. Best tinted sweat resistant sunscreen out there and beleive me. I've tried many. It's difficult to find a brand without the harsh chemicals and even Elta MD has some options that include those chemicals but this one seems to be the lesser of evils. It has remained a staple in my skin protection regimen. I have Albinism, dry skin due to sebhorric dermatitis and in general very sensitive skin. I've tried many other brands includong Sunbum mineral tinted face, which was not the correct pigment and rubbed off very easily. This is the one I come back to again and again. I use it at the beach and when I go hiking in the mountains. It can cause increased dryness which is why I ventured elsewhere for a bit but ended coming back to it because nothing else compared to the sweat/water resistance, the ease of application, the pigment and honestly, the coverage- like others have stated, it does seem to cover blemishes very well. **Tip - I started applying a moisturizer before applying the sunscreen and then again at night after I've washed my face which seems to buffer the dryness. I wore this every day for 10 days hiking in Italy and my face didnt react until I finished the trek, which is impressive! You need to use a more hardcore moisturizer though, such as the Clinique 100H moisture surge! Also I want to point out that becauae I have Albinism and do not tan at all, I am living proof that this sunscreen works. I dont think people realize how often you actually need to apply sunscreen. It's not a one and done thing. Read the label, do your research and protect your skin! Read more

I have tried this sunscreen around 5 months and I’m really like it! Not only does it provide excellent sun protection, but the subtle pink tint adds a light coverage, almost like a sheer foundation. It’s super lightweight, non-greasy, and doesn’t leave a white cast. Perfect for days when I want a natural, fresh look without heavy makeup. Highly recommend it! Read more

I have heard so many good things about this sunscreen and I was really excited to try it. I am extremely picky with my face sunscreens because I want them to be mineral based while not leaving a white cast or any kind of orange tint. This sunscreen meets all those marks but the only problem I've run into is that it pills like nobody's business. (Look up skin care pilling if you're unsure what I'm talking about.) I had read a couple other reviews about pilling but I just figured maybe they were applying their products wrong. Nope. I have normal/dry skin. I always apply my products in lightest weight to heaviest weight as recommended. After moisturizing, I'd wait at least 10-15 minutes for it to dry before applying the sunscreen. And it still pilled everywhere. After much tweaking I have finally got it to stop pilling after completely skipping my CeraVe moisturizer (which I've never had to do with any other sunscreen) and applying a lot less of the sunscreen, which makes me a little worried I might not be getting full coverage. In every other way this sunscreen is perfect- it is lightweight, not greasy at all, no white cast, no orange tones, no fragrance. So I don't want to persuade you against getting this product- some people seem to not have the pilling issue at all, but there's a good chance it might be something you have to deal with. $40 is a lot to pay for a sunscreen that might not work for you or be incompatible with your other skin care products, so just take that into consideration before buying this product.
