The media could not be loaded. When I think of Elton John I don't generally think of attractive eyewear--actually, quite the opposite. But these, though funky, are actually attractive, well-built sunglasses. You have to decide on the look. I was hesitant, even with these available to me free through the Amazon Vine program (which gives select reviewers items at no cost in return for a review). Even at free, ugly glasses are still ugly glasses. So I wasn't sure I would get these at all, but I decided on the basis of the photos on the product page to give them a try. I'm glad I did. They're actually nice-looking glasses. Moreover, they're well-built glasses possessing solid frames with excellent spring hinges. Lenses are thin plastic and polarized. They're fine lenses, par for the course in nice sunglasses. So I commend these to those who like their looks. You may find, as I did, that you like then even more in person than you do in photos. I've tried a few of the Elton John glasses now and find that they are all very unique and funky designs that will stand out as statement pieces. I love Elton's style and these are definitely something you'd expect to see with his name on it. The glasses come in sturdy cases and some of them come with really neat wipes that have photos or artwork from Elton's musical career. That being said. These aren't premium-quality sunglasses. I've got a few family members who invest a lot in their eyewear and these are not in the 150 price point in my opinion, closer to 50-75 range is what I'd pay for them. Read more

My son likes to wear bright and out there sunglasses and these were perfect for him - while they are a tad bit big - they make a statement! Well made Large, Bold and in your face! Price - Overpriced - these are no different in quality compared to other brands that are much cheaper - yes they do have a nice design on the frame but beyond that they are no different. Read more

Elton John's Highlighter Yellow sunglasses come very nicely packaged and protected. Included are an Elton John specific microfibre cloth and hardsided case. The glasses are very nicely made from high quality plastics. The hinges are smooth and sturdy. The plastic is finished in a highly smoothed and glossy finish. The glasses look and feel high quality. The sunglasses are large and boxy looking and they fit my average sized and oval shaped head nicely. The bright yellow and deep brown (almost black) color scheme is fun and different. Between the size and color scheme the sunglasses are noticeable, but not obnoxious or childish. The lenses are a light yellow. They don't darken the view much, but the yellow tone adds a unique color cast. The view is sharp and clear. The sunglasses are lightweight and comfortable. They don't place undue pressure on my nose or temples, and they stay in place well. All in all... great sunglasses. Read more

These come well-presented for gift-giving or collecting, but the glasses themselves were unimpressive. Being that these are from the Elton John line, I expected them to be much more oversized in the look, but they are actually a pretty standard size frame from the front. Overall, the frames are much too big for my head, and most glasses usually fit me pretty well. These don't grab on at all and freely slide off if I tip my head forward. The lenses are very dark, so good for bright situations, but pretty dark for shade or indoors. I'm disappointed overall, but I do love the quality details included in every part of the glasses, so I gave these a rating right down the middle at three stars. Read more

I think I was expecting these to be a little bigger than they are but then again, when I see Elton John wearing his glasses like this, they are that small on him too. Other than that, I really like these sunglasses. They come with a really nice hard case, and immediately fit well on my face. I did not have to make any adjustments. These are great unisex glasses. The lens color is interesting too. I can see clearly through the glass, there is no distortion. A bit pricey but I like them! Read more
