This ceremonial grade macha has a nice bright, vibrant green color and a slightly earthy smell when you first open it. It is easy to prepare, with no clumps and easily whisked. It produced a nice head with my frother. On its own it has a very rich, slightly acidic flavor. I prefer it in a latte, for anyone interested here is my recipe! Matcha prepared in boiling water 3/4 cup almond milk 1/2 cup of coconut water 1Tbsp of vanilla simple syrup Add all the ingredients to a large cup, then mix with a frother. The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this matcha. It is flavorful and smooth, and best of all it doesn't settle at the bottom like some matchas I have used in the past after mixing. I use an elective stirrer to mix it properly with non dairy milk and then add ice for a refreshing cold drink. It has a lovely green color and smells perfect. So yummy and smooth! I’m impressed with this matcha. The color is a bright, vibrant green. The taste is smooth with nice umami and little bitterness. It whisks easily and feels very fresh. This is much cheaper than other ceremonial-grade matcha I've had. You get 2.1oz for ~$19, which on other ones, you only get 1oz for ~$30 or so. This might seem like a compromise due to the lower price, but it's not actually a lot, especially if you just want the "matcha" flavor. Of course, if you're a matcha aficionado, you will notice the lower quality just by looking at it. Compared to the ones I've had in Japan, it's a little bit paler and less flavorful/aromatic. I've had to put more servings into my tea than I usually do. The texture is nice though; easy to mix and creates a good froth. Overall, I'll give this a 4-star due to its affordability and quality. I didn't give it 5 because it's up to par with its name, "ceremonial-grade." Read more

I’m not a Matcha tea connoisseur but this is the second time I’ve ordered this particular brand. It tastes good and has a nice green color. It is also one of the more affordable brands I found of the ceremonial grade that is organic. I drink one cup each morning to start my day. Read more
