Lilah was getting fussy about going to bed in her crate. Realizing that she's a princess and prefers the couch or bed during the day we searched and bought this bed for the crate. So far there's no problem at bed time and she goes in and out of the crate with no problem. The double side was a selling point as temps change a lot from cold to hot here in Arizona. The bed was softer than I expected which was a good thing. We have a 30x20 crate and the bed fit is perfect. No regrets with this purchase. Read more

Nice, quality dog bed. It fit well in the crate being used. Unfortunately the washable cover was ripped by my dog and not repairable. I reached out to Empsign about purchasing a replacement cover but they don't sell them. I was told I would have to replace the entire dog bed. This was not a viable option to me. The media could not be loaded. This used to be my favorite choice for an affordable and washable dog bed that still offered good support that would prevent sores, especially for larger dogs. So I was absolutely shocked to see that when I recently ordered a new one (to replace one that my dog put a hole in) the inner filling was COMPLETELY different. The new bed is thin and offers absolutely no support for my dog, whereas the previous version offered plenty. You can see in the video that the older design is much more plush and offers resistance when I push down on it, vs the new design which lets my hand sink right down to the floor with barely any resistance at all. Any dog heavier than 20lbs is going to develop sores if you use this as their normal everyday bed, especially if you place it on a hard floor or in a kennel. The real insult is that it's so blatantly a severe drop in quality and yet they still expect you to pay the same price as if nothing has been changed.
