Long-lasting and Secure Coin Batteries These Energizer 2032 lithium coin batteries impressed me with their dependability and thoughtful design. I originally bought them to replace the battery in a car key fob, and they worked right out of the package with strong, consistent power. Energizer claims up to 10 years of shelf life, which makes it easy to keep a pack on hand for future needs without worrying about them draining prematurely. The packaging includes a 3-in-1 child-resistant shield, which was a nice touch. The coin cell size makes these potentially dangerous for kids, so I appreciated the extra safety measure that requires some effort to open but is still manageable for adults. The batteries themselves are clearly marked and easy to install, and I noticed no drop in performance compared to the original factory-installed battery. While these are primarily marketed for key fobs, fitness trackers, and medical devices, they’re versatile enough to work in scales, thermometers, and other small electronics around the house. The only minor drawback is that the protective packaging can be a bit stubborn to open, but I’d rather have that than risk accidental access by children. Reliable batteries - horrible packaging
Battery works fine, as expected. Totally a 5 Would give it a -5 for packaging. This is my first time dealing with the new packaging and it is HORRIBLE. I know this is not on Energizer, but it they don't hear from consumers, they'll think we're happy. We are not! I wonder if enough adults go to the ER with multiple cuts, it might be changed.
