Customers find the night light works well during power outages and provides good illumination, with two brightness levels and the ability to use it as a flashlight.

Already had some of these - power went out recently, used them for over 2 hours! These are great to have when power is on or off! Would highly recommend. Read more
6 units to give good strategic lighting when needed. Replaces night lights that come on at night only to fail when there's a power outage. Can be unplugged and used for a rechargeable flashlight as well. I'm in a new place and the power went off after dark. It was very dark due to light block drapes. Had to stumble around with my phone. At 78, falling is not a good idea. So I looked this up the next day. Very pleased. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I’ve bought many of these and all of them work great except for two that started flickering when plugged in no matter what setting I have them on. It’s so annoying I had to throw those two away. It feels like I’m back in my old club days with the strobe lights! Read more
This thing is sturdy! It was delivered in my garage while I was out, and when I got home I didn’t see the brown envelope on my garage floor, so I ran right over it! Well, it was still intact and not even a dent! Plugged it in and it works like a charm. Read more
Very handy and useful. Initially purchased for elderly father that loses power frequently during storms. After one storm he woke up and thought that he had gone blind because it was pitch black in the room. It works as night light and should power go out the emergency light come on. I was impressed enough to purchase additional lights for my in-laws, my home and even the RV. I plan on purchasing for Christmas presents for the homes of my children and grandchildren. Read more
Very happy with these night lights. The color of the light is soft and warm, which is my preference. They simply plug into the wall outlet and reliably turn on when there is a power failure or are unplugged. They look nice, although they are larger than other nightlights that I've used in the past, but the extra light they throw is definitely worth it. They illuminate a large area at night without overwhelming the space. Well-made and easy to use. Read more
Recommendation to purchasers: test these before trusting them. I've had several cases in which the lights would work as night lights but not as emergency lights. When you first get them, plug them in for 24 hours. Then remove them from the power source. If they light up, you're good. If they don't, try pushing the side button that toggles between bright wide light, low wide light, flashlight, and off. If it still doesn't work, return it. That said, I did buy a bunch of them so maybe one out of ten won't work. Update: more going back. Two out of the last batch fail when unplugged. One doesn't light at all (useless in a power failure, obviously) while the second comes on but lights both as flashlight and main light, and refuses to turn off at all. I can imagine it would be fine if that's all you had, but it sure doesn't work as advertised. Downgrade in rating. These are emergency lights that provide a diffuse light at night, and one or two will replace four or five smaller emergency lights. Also, they take up only one outlet instead of separate nightlights and emergency lights. The downside is that they are bulky and do provide light over a wide area rather than a focused spot. The upside is that they might replace several spot units with just one or two units. Over time, these lights start to fail by flashing constantly. Unless you're running a disco, it is very distracting. They do come on when there is no power, but until that time, one by one they start flashing at night. Another update: I suspect the company is simply repackaging lights that were returned for failing to work properly, since the failure rate is even higher now. If I could, I'd give it zero stars.
