Packaing: I ordered these along with Energizer Compact charger, so i got them both in same package. It is difficult to give you a perfect picture on how the packaging would be if you order them standalone. But they came in the standard box with plastic airbags to avoid they moving in the box. Happy with the way amazon does the packaging. No complains here. About the complain from other users: I read through the reviews after placing the order as i was in a bit hurry while placing the order. When the package arrived, i was expecting a total of 4 batteries as said in previous reviews but to my pleasent surprise i got 8 batteries (2 pack of 4 battries in each pack, as advertised here). I am sure amazon corrected it after listening to the complains from other users. So do not worry about the previous complains. About the Batteries: I have tens of items running off the batteries (Bose headphones, TV Remote, Roku Remote, Home Theatre Remote etc.) so it was essential for me to get the rechargable battries to avoid running for battery every month (Bose eats up a battery every week). I got these batteries along with Energizer Compact Charger and i am absolutely loving them. I dont have to worry about charging these batteries overnight, they are ready to go in 15 mins. They also hold up charge pretty good. It is just close to a week since i have been using them so it is difficult to give you idea how they perform in the long run but i am happy with the way they are performing till now. I will update this review if i see any anomaly. Read more

I've used these and other rechargeable brands for years and have settled on Energizers. First of all, in my experience, rechargeable batteries do not carry a charge as long as non-rechargeable. I buy these because we use a LOT of batteries and this is the low cost solution. Buy a good recharger and your batteries will last much longer. If the charger has the option to slow charge use that over fast charge. I have rechargeable batteries that are several years old and still hold a charge. I keep the spare batteries in the charger and swap them as needed so we always have freshly charged batteries. If you charge the batteries and lay them off to the side they will loose much of their charge over several weeks. Cameras seem to be big battery hogs and as an avid photographer rechargeable batteries are the only cost effective solution. I take a spare packs of batteries and the portable charger with me on vacation. When a battery fails, and all will eventually, they will simply refuse to take another charge. A charger will support any brand of battery for the sizes it is designed for. I prefer the Energizers but any of the major brands work just fine. Read more

I actually bought a pack of these 4 years ago but I lost them during a move. I bought another pack for a set of headphones I use constantly that just eats batteries. I've had them for three months already and I haven't noticed them degrading in use time. The last pair I had was just starting to, so I don't plan on these going bad for quite some time. And these batteries have easily paid for themselves if not 4 times over. It may seem like a large investment up front to get a charger and a pack of rechargeable batteries but it is definitely worth it and will more than pay for itself in the end. And that large investment is getting to be less. I bought my charger back when it was $50 for it and a pair of AA's and I still wouldn't look back on that purchase. Read more

From camera equipment to baby toys, we go through batteries like crazy!!! These are the best rechargeable batteries I've ever used! I just had a baby and everything from rockers to bouncers require batteries and we go through them like crazy! My fiance and I said enough and went with rechargeable. Best decision ever. They are a little more expensive than the standard disposable ones, but even with that there are laws you have to follow you can't just throw them in the garbage anymore they are toxic and get tossed in landfills. So we invested in the family sized universal battery charger and bought a pack of each size. Mosty "D" and "C" but also "AA". I highly recommend getting the universal family charger because it will fit any size battery and different sizes at the same time. Plus it has a digital display and tells you when the charging is done. Great item. I'll be back for more. They have already paid for themselves twice over! Read more

I purchased these batteries mainly to power my daughter's tabletop figural nightlight. Although these rechargeable batteries are slightly lower voltage than the alkaline batteries we had been using, there is no noticeable difference in either brightness or lifespan per charge. I plan to purchase more of these batteries in AA size for my Nikon film SLR as soon as our current stock of alkaline batteries is gone. Like many other reviewers stated, I did initially only receive one package of 4 AAA batteries despite the description saying this item was a 2-pack. When I contacted customer service about the issue, the Amazon representative was extremely helpful and put in a replacement order for me with no extra charge. I was also asked to inform them if the replacement order also arrived with only one package of batteries, because there should be two. My advice to anyone who doesn't receive the right number of packs is to contact Amazon so they can fix the problem. Read more
