I was very frustrated that even though the batteries were inserted correctly per the diagram on the end cap, I couldn't get it to work at all. I was in the middle of doing a return when I decided to wait until later to find out where my husband left its original packaging. While waiting, I decided to peruse the reviews and low and behold, someone else had the same problem. They said they had to really tighten down the end cap over the battery compartment and then it worked fine. I tried that using one of those rubber "gripper" jar openers and made it extremely tight. In fact, I will surely have to use that again when I need to change the batteries. Other than that momentary problem, it's a very bright and durable flashlight. I was impressed with its heft and it's textured to ensure a good grip. I'm going to order a couple more so we can have one in the bedroom, one by the front door, and one in the car in case of an emergency or a power outage. Read more

What a flashlight. Light is VERY bright. Could probably see it from space lol. Flashlight very well made. Has 3 light settings. The focused is extremely bright and shines way down the road. The broad light pattern illuminates the area well. Strobe is nice and bright also. Nice heavy feel from the machined aluminum. Water resistant O-ring on battery cap. Nice size, comfortable to hold. Bought one to try it out and ordered 2 more, for the RV and home. Nice that it comes with 6 AA batteries. Highly recommend if need a good, bright flashlight. Read more

Sturdy feeling flashlight. Says it’s 1500 lumens and I believe it to be. It’s brighter than my 1000 lumens flashlight. It comes with 6 AA batteries. Easy to use. It has one button that has a bright setting, dim setting and flashing setting. I knocked off one star because the focusing feature is really more of a dimming feature. You can basically dim the bright light to the low setting and then back up to the bright setting. Looks like there are about 5-6 settings in between. Just hold down the button until it starts to dim and vice versa. Other than this issue it’s actually a great flashlight for 12 bucks! Package came damaged, but flashlight was fine. Read more

Has a good weight to it. The highest setting is very bright, we use it to see down to the end of our yard at night when we let the dog out. When you turn it on and push the button 2 times quickly it’s a lesser intensity and 3 times is a strobe light. Would buy it again. Doesn’t come with batteries. Read more

This is a very nice flashlight. It is durable, the right weight, and it seems to be very well made. Just got it today, and it didn't turn on. I tried rearranging the batteries to no avail. Then I did an online search and found that you have to tighten the battery compartment quite a bit for it to work. Once I did that, it worked. And it's super bright! It requires six AA batteries, but after that, you have a lightweight flashlight that will light up the street at night and is perfect for power outages. There is one button to turn it on, and it has three settings, normal light, bright light and flashing light. I like it a lot but took off one star for the battery compartment issue and another star for really short battery life. New batteries are super bright at first, but pretty quickly lose power and need to be replaced every few weeks if you use them when walking your dog at night like I do. I am going to look for a super bright rechargeable flashlight to replace this. Read more
