EverBrite Rechargeable EDC Flat Flashlight 1200LM Pocket Flashlight with White UV Red Light Red Laser and Red Blue

This light is surprisingly effective and durable! As soon as I got it out of the package I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and feel. It’s all metal in design. The clip is actually functional - it’s firm and clips onto a belt with ease and STAYS there. It fits comfortably in the hand and the buttons are in a good spot to use. There’s a magnetic base on the end that is strong enough to hold it perpendicular to the ground without it falling or sliding down. The power buttons are rubberized and tactile. You can feel it click when you turn it on. They aren’t too easy or difficult to press. I would say they’re a bit close though and if you’re wearing thick gloves it would be easier to accidentally press the wrong one. The area/side light is - wow. Very, very bright. Initially. It starts noticeably reducing the brightness after a moment due to the rapid heat from the light output. The metal casing will get slightly warm while it’s at full brightness but not ever too hot to touch on the lense or area round it. After about 2-3 minutes it’s reduced to a sustainable light level it can stay at and dissipate heat. I’d say that light level is still around 300 lumens - plenty for most tasks. It has four brightness settings. The main flashlight on the end is also very bright. Not quite as bright as the area/sidelight but it will project better. It’s a wide angle/floodlight as well - not so much a distance covering spotlight reflection this light. It has three brightness settings. At its max brightness the lense itself becomes very hot, too hot to touch. The black button controls the main light on the end and the area light on the side. Once you set it to the light and brightness that you want and leave it for a few seconds - pressing it again will turn it off and thereafter it will go back to that same light and brightness setting when you turn the light back on later. I like that memory function. The orange button controls the extra/misc lights. On the end there is a black/UV light. It does pretty good and is moderately bright. There is also your standard red laser for pointing things out or playing with the cats. Pressing it a third time will bring up the red lighting on the side for map/low light level reading. I think this red light is a bit brighter than it should be. It’s pretty bright and if you were using it to read maps or otherwise prevent your eyes night vision from being affected - I would place it a couple feet from whatever you’re using it for. The final and fourth function is a strobing and alternating red/blue/purple that is meant for emergency/roadside purposes. The strobe is also very bright and will definitely get folks attention. I’m not a fan of the lights being blue or red and flashing. That blue/red flash will get you in trouble (in Florida at least) if used around or inside a motor vehicle. If they had just made it amber instead of blue it would have worked for that use case. On the other side is a rubber cap for the USB C port and behind that are four LED’s that give you the charge remaining. Overall this light is pretty ideal and versatile as an EDC light if you actually use them and can justify its slightly larger form factor and weight. I can see this light being perfect for someone who does inspections/permitting or any outdoor nighttime work. It would also be a great light to keep in the car as an emergency light if you need to work on something or change a tire. At its current price of around $22 I think this light is an outstanding value for the cost. love flashlights and have had lots of EDC brands and models. This is a nice little flashlight along the lines of the Ark and similar flat multi-function EDC lights. Good array of various functions in a small package. Flat, thin form factor is nice. Lightweight. Comfortable to hold and carries very easily in a pocket. Has a two-way clip that's pretty good and it sits fairly deep. Overall materials, fit and finish are very good. Beam from the front is mostly all flood. No real hot spot to it. Has some reasonable range to it. (See images at low, medium, and high across a parking lot.) Side light is all flood obviously. Brightest mode is high from the side light. Lumen output seems about right. Not vastly exaggerated as in the case of some less expensive lights. Gets a little warm but no excessive heat in any mode. The IR light is OK. Will light up things that are white or fluorescent across a room and say maybe 10-15' or so out in front of you walking. Laser is about the same as a typical decent laser pointer. Not all that strong but functional for pointing out things and teasing the cat. You cannot have the white light and laser on at the same time. Controls are pretty good. You have to step through some modes to get to where you want to be with the single buttons but not too bad. Functions are separated well between the white lights on the front button and laser, IR, red and flashing lights on the second orange button. No strobe on the white light side (Yay). It does remember the last setting on both sides. Magnet isn't all that great. Will hold itself pointed straight up or down. Stuck perpendicular to something it will tend to slide and/or fall off. Charges fairly quickly and battery life if pretty good. Battery level is easy to track with the green indicators next to the charging port. The cover for the USB C charging point is a little picky about how you close it but it will stay closed when you get it right. Just need to mess with it a little more than you should have to. Overall, I like it a lot. It's a better light than I expected for the price. Most people will be very happy with it as an inexpensive EDC flashlight. Read more

I was looking for a small flashlight that I could keep in my purse for emergencies when I came across this little EverBrite light. One of the first things I noticed was just how compact it is. The flashlight has a flat design, which makes it very easy to slip into a purse without taking up much space. It also comes with an attached clip, which makes it very versatile. You can clip it onto a belt, a shirt pocket, jean pocket, or even inside a purse pocket to keep it easy to find. I really like that it is rechargeable so I do not have to worry about constantly replacing batteries. Do not let the small size fool you though because this little flashlight really packs a punch. It has several different lighting options which makes it extremely useful in a variety of situations. There is a standard flashlight with three different brightness levels, a laser light, a UV light, and a second flashlight on the side that offers four brightness levels. It also includes a red light and a red and blue flashing light which could be helpful in an emergency situation. The flashlight also has a magnetic base that allows it to attach to metal surfaces. I do think a second magnet along one of the sides might have been helpful for certain situations, but the base magnet still works well. It charges using the included USB Type C cable which is very convenient. This light is lightweight and easy to carry around. The clip is sturdy and works well, although it is not easily removable which is something I personally would have preferred. That said, it is not a deal breaker for me. Overall I think this is a great little gadget to have on hand. It is small enough to keep in my purse but powerful enough to be very useful when needed.
