I had previously written a review of the Bestten Screwless Outlet Plates. Unfortunately, my experience installing them was extremely frustrating. I spent at least an hour trying to install a single Bestten outer plate, which ultimately proved impossible because the outlet itself was not perfectly flat. The design requires snapping a series of pins on the outer plate into slots on the lower plate, and even slight misalignment made installation incredibly difficult. After struggling with just one plate for over an hour, I gave up and returned them the next day. In the meantime, I came across the Enerlites Screwless Wall Plates and decided to give them a try. The difference in ease of installation was night and day. I was able to install the first plate within minutes, and in the same amount of time it took me to struggle with one Bestten cover, I installed more than half a dozen Enerlites plates. In fact, I replaced about 30 outlet plates in a single day—it was as simple as moving from one outlet to the next. Unlike the Bestten design, which requires carefully aligning multiple pins, the Enerlites plates install by simply pressing the bottom of the cover into place and then snapping the top in. The process was quick and straightforward. My only minor complaint is that the color of the plate is slightly different from the Decora outlets. However, the sleek look of these screwless plates is still a noticeable improvement overall. I do hope the easier installation doesn’t mean they detach more easily over time; if that becomes an issue, I will update this review. In the meantime, I highly recommend the Enerlites plates for any do-it-yourselfer looking to upgrade the appearance of their outlets and switches with minimal effort. Read more

Changing out most of my outlets from the former style to decora style. PROS: These cover plates are made of durable hard plastic. The covers are packed in protective plastic. The cover plates are two pieces -- a base-plate and snap-on cover plate nested together. You simply separate the two plates, unscrew and remove your old outlet cover and snap on the screwless cover plate. Note that the outlet (receptacle) needs to be decora style. I like these covers because they firmly snap over the included base plate and the screws are hidden. Changing out my 20 year old outlets and screwless covers look fantastic, sleek and modern. I recommend! CONS: Base plate and cover plate come snapped together. It is difficult to separate the base plate from cover plate. Read more
This is a game changer!! The old style plates with the visible screws are awful and replacing them with screwless plates completely changes the look. The price on Amazon vs buying at Home Depot or Lowes is crazy good. I have used these to replace any plates with screws. Everyone should do this! Read more
I've tried at least 6 different brands of screwless decorator wall plates of varying cost and brand status, these are just as good, if not better than the expensive name brand plates. Unlike cheaper plates, these have the rigid two-part design that screws into the receptacle or switch, allowing the wall plate to snap in securely and solidly. And unlike expensive Lutron wall plates, the one gang plates don't have a seam along the edges. These also have a bright white and glossy finish without unnecessary bevels, notches, or branding. Don't hold it against these plates that the white doesn't match the white of your outlets or switches. These plates are also a little bit thicker than other screwless wall plates, but once they're on the wall this difference is hardly noticeable. All in all I'm very satisfied with these wall plates, especially at this price. Read more
