This crystal lamp is pretty small but the light works well and we use it for a night light. There are two way ways to power it up, with three AA batteries or connect it through USB C. The base is smooth black plastic and the crystal part is also smooth. The inside appears to have a liquid inside so it kind of looks like a lava lamp. Overall, it's a nice crystal lamp. It's bright enough for soft light, and perfect for a gaming room or for Halloween parties. It is shaped sort of like a salt lamp, but it is made of smooth plastic. I've currently got this placed next to my bed as an evening night light, plugged in with an extra cord that I have. As a fan of Final Fantasy 14 it’s very reminiscent of the “mother crystal” (if ya know ya know!) which I get a kick out of. Comes with USB-C cable.
