A little spendy, but worth it. The protein is great for keeping muscle while losing weight. I’m not a weightlifter, but muscle is still important. It’s premixed, so a shake is all I give it, which technically isn’t even necessary lol. It’s about the size of a soda, but skinnier a bit. Despite the slightly smaller volume, it is way more filling and nutritious than most soda obviously. You could definitely mix this into a smoothie or milkshake, it tastes good on its own as a standout ingredient, it’d be hard to go wrong. I think most people prefer the texture cold, but I like it room temp. I feel it has more flavor that way. The texture isn’t slimey or goopy, like some brands out there. It has a clean and fresh mouthfeel, like a regular drink but tastier. Milkshake in a bottle lol. For mixability, I recommend peanut butter, milk, bananas, or like ores and ice cream. Definitely follow a recipe. Blenders seem easy till you’re wondering why smoothies are so hard to make. Just follow a f****ing recipe lol. Read more

Mother in law uses it/ she drinks it every day, once per day. Usually at night. They are about the right size and taste wonderful. And she said they have the vitamin & minerals she needs. She thinks they are a good value and they are good for you. They fill her up and satisfies her hunger. She highly recommends them. She likes the milk chocolate best, not the dark chocolate. Read more

I try to keep a regular stock of meal-replacement shakes to have for lunch on those days when I’m too busy or low-appetite to sit down and eat a solid meal. Before I decided to buy this (Ensure Max Protein shakes), I actually sat down and thoroughly cross-compared it with all the other meal-replacement shakes/powders I’ve tried in the past, including: 1. Original Ensure shakes 2. Soylent 3. Huel 4. GNC Total Lean shakes (Note: as a certified choco-holic, I’ve only tried the chocolate flavor for all of these products, of course.) I evaluated each of these meal-replacement shakes based on: 1. Their overall nutritional value (for me, this meant: how much protein, fiber, and vitamins I could get in proportion to the calories in 1 serving), 2. The average price per serving. To my surprise, the Ensure Max Protein shakes were actually the all-around winner! They’re slightly cheaper than the other options (including their Original Ensure shake sisters, somehow?), and yet they’re also higher in protein, fiber, *and* lower in calories. It’s crazy how far modern food technology has come! 🤩 Flavor-wise, they taste fairly close to the Original Ensure shakes (for reference: I go crazy for the taste of original Ensure. Idk why, but the flavor is kind of nostalgic, and I kind of love the slightly metallic/iron-ish aftertaste lol), but these Max Protein shakes are a bit grainier. This is to be expected though, since they’re higher in protein. TL;DR: I already did the product research/comparison for you. This is the best option—in terms of price, nutrition, and caloric content! Read more

The taste is similar to chocolate milk. They're a bit expensive, but an easy, convenient way to boost protein intake, without adding a lot of calories. They are best cold. Don't allow them to freeze and then thaw (shipped to a cold location where they freeze outside before being brought inside), they will be ruined. Read more

Great Taste, High Protein, and Easy Nutrition I’ve been trying the Ensure Max Protein shakes in French Vanilla, and they’ve become one of my go-to choices for quick nutrition. Each shake packs 30 grams of protein in a compact 11-ounce bottle, which is very efficient for days when I don’t have time for a full meal but want something filling. The taste is smooth and creamy without being overly sweet—closer to a lightly flavored vanilla latte than a heavy dessert. I like that it has just 1 gram of sugar and includes 4 grams of fiber, so it doesn’t give me that sugar rush and crash that some other shakes do. The texture is on the thinner side compared to some protein shakes, which actually makes it easier to drink. I also noticed it mixes well if I pour it over ice or even blend it with a banana for a more filling smoothie. One thing to keep in mind is that the flavor is subtle—if you’re used to sweeter drinks, this may take some getting used to. Also, while it works well as a meal replacement in a pinch, it’s more of a protein supplement than a fully balanced meal. Bottom line: A convenient, low-sugar, high-protein shake with a smooth vanilla flavor that’s easy to drink and perfect for busy days or post-workout recovery. Read more

It’s a good value for the money. Also, the Protein count is high 30 mg and the calorie count is low 150. The drink is not as thick as Boost, but, the flavor is tasty. I bought it again Read more
