I am not a big fan of protein bars or protein shakes, and being on a GLP-1 treatment plan, my dietitian wants to ensure I'm getting enough protein. She suggested protein water, and I have found these to be my favorite. These protein water drinks are a great way to get extra protein in your daily diet, and I appreciate the variety of flavors available in this variety pack. The peach mango is my favorite, but the other two are also great. They are a little too sweet for me, so I usually keep them at room temperature and then pour them over a tall glass of ice so that the ice melts and waters down the drink. Or I dilute it about 1/2 and 1/2 with water. There is a slight thickness to the liquid, which is not too noticeable for me, but again, I enjoy it more when it's watered down. I take these along on my hiking trips, and they work great to give me a boost of energy and quench my thirst. Plus, it helps give me a feeling of being full, so it satisfies my hunger for a while, which is a bonus! I usually have one 20 oz. drink per day. Tastes great, perfect way to add protein to your diet. I add water or drink over lots of ice as it is a little thicker in consistency than water. I don’t eat great especially in the in morning so it's a perfect addition to my day. I grab one on my way out of the door in the morning and drink in my car. I am a home health nurse so I am on the go lots. I recommend it to all of my patients that need extra protein. I love that there are so many great flavors! It's a great way to add hydration. I am not exaggerating when I say that this water has made reaching my daily protein goal a breeze instead of a struggle. This is one of my favorite flavors, but it is a little sweeter than I like, so I mix it with a blackberry sparkling water. That lightens it up. There's an odd mouth feel drinking it straight that I'm not a fan of too, so adding plain or fizzy water takes that out. I also like that it has added electrolytes. Read more

I hate this stuff. It’s so sweet. But it’s a good way to increase your protein intake when on a clear liquid diet. This peach mango flavor and also the cherry one are the only ones I can tolerate. Pros- decent value for the money, good protein and calorie levels, keeps you hydrated, better tasting than other brands or any of the powders I’ve tried. It’ll just never be an every day protein option for me. I’ve used it in the past before/after bariatric surgery and another abdominal surgery when I need to do clear liquids. I have a revision bariatric surgery & gallbladder removal tomorrow. I’ll need to do clear liquids for 2 days after. I also started mostly liquids yesterday because I usually suffer from bloating and constipation after and didn’t want much in my system. So I bought the one case and will finish it all but that’s it. I do highly recommend for bariatric patients needing to do clear liquids.
