4 inch was plenty for what we needed them to do. Install was pretty easy, just wish there were more pack options to go from 2, 4, or 6, per pack. The switch from regular light to night light is easy. Just flip your switch off to on (regular light) then switch off for 1 second then back on and it turns to night light. And it modernized the area. Read more
