The Every Day filters are the ones you want if you want to chug already potable water and you just want a filter to improve the taste. The more aggressive filter can be difficult to get water out of quickly, but is what you want for any sus water sources. UPDATE: It seems they've updated the "Everywhere" filter again and now it appears to have a bit of charcoal and it's easier to drink through. I think I'll stick with the Everywhere model now, seems to be a good balance of filtering vs effort. Read more

works with standard yeti straw with simple modification

The standard yeti straw that comes with the yeti flip lid is 8.35mm OD and 6.3mm ID (inner diameter is 1/4"), and is too small to fit snugly in the filter. I adapted it by cutting about a half inch of silicone straw with 1/4" ID to fit around the yeti straw and make it fit snugly. Easy fix. I love the taste of my water now. It does take a little effort to drink through it, but not bad, and good peace of mind with all the PFAS and microplastics and other contaminants everywhere. Read more

They also sent me a lid that didn’t work, so I got in touch with them and they said they would send me another, but it might leak. I asked them why and they refused to send me a lid.
