The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Eplo U8Max after lots of research. This model kept coming up as the top bidet toilet in this price range. I think it’s better than some that are more expensive. We re-did our bathroom and I wanted to treat myself with a smart bidet toilet but didn’t want to spend several thousand dollars. This one had all of the features I wanted at a reasonable price. I must say it is a real treat! The bidet sprayer does an excellent job, and all features work as advertised. The foam feature really works. The toilet seat is elongated and has more space than the bidet seats that attach to an existing toilet. The overall style/look fits most bath designs. The flush noise is surprisingly quite low. The seat height is very comfortable. The wall plug comes with a built-in GFCI protector. The white finish matches my white Kohler acrylic bathtub. Installation is quite easy, especially for a home DIYer. You’ll need two people to lift the toilet in place. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. All hardware is included, along with the wax seal. The two-way water valve is included, and is of high quality. The water lines and a battery backup are also included. Nothing else is needed to install, accept a nearby electric outlet. Use the included template to help with installation. The quality and finish of the whole unit is impressive. I had it up and running in about 20 minutes, and the average person should be able to do it in less than an hour. Key measurements for water lines and electrical outlet: (see attached photos) Water supply: my water line is 3.5” (9 cm) to the left of the widest part of the toilet base and 6.5” (16.5 cm) up from the floor. I had to rotate the valve to the left a bit to make hose connections easier. I would put the water line 8” (20.3 cm) from the floor next time, but 6.5” works just fine. Tuck the extra hose back into the rear of the toilet. Electrical outlet: it is about 1” (2.5 cm) from the widest part of the toilet base on the right side, and 7” (17.8 cm) up from the floor to the bottom of the electrical box. Tip: Connect the white battery backup box to the black cable with the red end in back before you plug the toilet in. Then place the box anywhere in the rear opening. One of my concerns was will it arrive safely. The toilet is very well packed. Lots of styrofoam that cradle the toilet, and a sturdy box with plenty of strapping. I used the Amazon “room of your choice” delivery option and had it placed in the room next to the bathroom. Delivery was flawless. Eplo did a great job with the packaging design. I am very picky and analyze everything that I buy. I’m very impressed with this purchase, so much so that I will be getting another one for a different bathroom. It was definitely money well spent. I lived in Japan for almost 4 years and returning to the US, missed the wonderful bidets. After researching, I settled on the EPLO U8Max Smart Toilet Bidet and ordered two; a big purchase for never having seen or used them. I hoped for the best. They arrived promptly (I’m in CA, USA). They were packaged well, no damage, no missing parts. I wouldn’t say that the installation was completely straight forward, as the water valves in my home didn’t align, so be prepared for that possibility. It took some creative maneuvering on the part of my plumbers and an extra trip to the home goods store, but they got the job done. The floor mount seated well and the slightly unusual cinches actually worked just fine. A lot of care has gone into the design of these bidets. They come pre-programmed. After reading through the instruction manual several times, I saw that the operation of the bidet, with either the knob on the bidet itself, or the wall mounted control was intuitive, offers lots of personalized settings and is easy to use. I was in contact with the manufacturer over the initial pairing of one of the wall controls with the bidet and received prompt, courteous, efficient attention until the issue was resolved (they are the NICEST people) with follow-through and obvious concern for my satisfaction. For the most part, use of the toilet is almost touch-less, which I love. The seat and inner bowl are silver ion anti microbially infused so light wiping with mild, diluted soap is all it needs to stay sanitary. No brushes, no cleansers. There is a bowl pre-wash, a soapy foamy rinse, if needed, plenty of flush power, heated seat, air dryer, light, auto open and close, water saving features and a comfortable seat. It’s a tad higher than a standard US toilet, which I wanted. I like the looks of it and I would buy it again and be very happy with my purchase. I especially liked the customer service. Good value for a full feature toilet with built in bidet. The open by itself, the seat is warm, and the water temperature can be adjusted. We have had this for about 6 weeks now and no issues so far. I had a question about cleaning and their service team was responsive. We purchased 2 of the U8Pro units for two bathrooms. We like the height and the auto flush. Wish that these self functional toilets were more common. We did have these professionally installed and are happy with the purchase so far. Night light feature is cool. Would recommend. Read more
