I purchased this keyboard for my husband, who has built his own PC, but has generally been more focused on his mouse and controller (he mainly uses a controller for gaming). He was perfectly happy with the keyboard that came in the box with the gaming PC he purchased ~4yrs ago, and saw nothing wrong with it at all. I, however, am a budding keyboard snob. I got sucked into the Reddit forums over the winter and learned (too much) about the subtle nuances between each board and that there was, in fact, a correct answer to "what keyboard is best?" I've not gotten to building my own from the ground up yet, but love being able to swap keycaps and switches to make the board more of my own creation so I have a small collection of boards I've curated and customized. With that background established, I decided that I couldn't possibly let my beloved husband continue to use the clunker he was currently on (he could not have cared less at the time). As far as I was concerned, the MCHOSE G98 Pro was the best out-of-the box, but it is only a 98% layout and he is used to working on a 100% layout so I did some research which lead me to this bad larry. This keyboard is freaking NICE. The backlight/RGB is beautiful and can be easily customized, and the keycaps sound, feel and look great (but are also hot-swappable so can easily be changed out for something even more unique). I did buy this with the intention of finding some neat keycaps for my sweetie, but haven't landed on anything that actually looks better than what it comes with out of the box. The switches also have a great sound and feel so no need to spend a fortune on replacements (yet)! It has a beautiful 100% layout so it is a proper full-size keyboard, and it's got 3 connection modes (USB/wireless 2.4hz dongle/Bluetooth) so it is convenient from all angles. It does exactly what you'd want a keyboard to do and looks and feels great while doing it - the responsiveness, feel, and appearance are all 10/10. Suddenly, after using this keyboard for a couple of weeks, my husband has also decided that keyboards DO matter, and there are good and bad ones. Now he's in the rabbit hole with me, but is thoroughly satisfied with this board. As far as quality for the money goes, this is way at the top of our list. You really couldn't ask for a better intro to the keyboard weirdo community, at least as far as full-size/100% layouts go. Read more

This is an amazing keyboard! The colors are so cute and the background lights can be easily dimmed or turned off if they’re too distracting. My favorite part is the sound and feel of the keys. They feel very smooth to the touch and easy to press, and the sound is supremely creamy/clacky. Typing has become so fun and satisfying thanks to this keyboard. The only thing to note is that it’s a bit loud, which I like but might be distracting in a shared office space. Overall, I highly recommend! Read more

I really like this keyboard. It sounds nice and looks nice. It works like it should and the RGB is nice and bright. No problems connecting wirelessly and no lag. I bought this for the office, but the switches are really loud and really light (I type with a heavy hand) so I’m replacing them with the Durock Silent Shrimp tactile switches so I don’t annoy my coworkers and so I can stop banging my fingers into the switch plate. The case is plastic but not bad for a budget keyboard. I got the one without the knob and even though I would much rather have the additional keys and even though I know the screen is useless (nearly no practical purpose), I still have a little knob and screen envy. I am a keyboard snob. I admit it. I'm not a gamer, so I don't care about RGB light shows. In fact, I find them rather annoying. This keyboard has many different lighting modes that you can set from keyboard commands with no need of downloading a program to do it. You can turn them off completely, if desired. I enjoy typing/writing, and I want my keyboard to add to that pleasure. If my keyboard does not feel right or sound right, then I don't want to use it. This keyboard has been an absolute joy to type on. It is a full, 100% layout. It is so nice to have all my keys at my disposal without having to do without or use extra means to access some commands. I want my number pad and all the directional keys at my disposal at all times. This keyboard delivers. The linear keystrokes are smooth. The sound of this keyboard is also wonderful. If you are a real keyboard enthusiast, like me, you know what I'm talking about--that quiet, thocky sound so many of us crave. It is quiet enough to use in an office environment without your coworkers getting annoyed. It has been a dependable typing experience with no extra letters or random spaces appearing for no reason. That was a problem I found with another big name competitor and I returned those products. This Epomaker x Aula F108 keyboard checks all the boxes and it is a total keeper. The price for the quality you get can't be beat. I recommend it highly. Read more

I’ve been using this keyboard everyday for work for a few weeks now and it works great. Easy to connect with many options, from Bluetooth to a usb dongle, connectivity is definitely not an issue. I’m not a gamer so I haven’t noticed any lagging as I’m just doing basic typing on a day to day basis. The sound is a bit loud for but it still has a bit of that creamy sound. It’s very obviously a prebuilt but gets the job done. Very light considering the size and looks cute too! Read more
