I make custom royal icing cookies and spend hours sitting to decorate and package them, especially around the holidays. The chair I had been using was a leather knock-off and the seat and backrest were disintegrating and leaving a mess all over the room. It was time for a new chair. I was a little nervous buying something like this without first getting to sit in it but decided to take the chance. Assembly was pretty easy, although I had to adjust the armrests where they attach to the seat because I had them slightly too narrow and it was giving me problems putting the backrest on. Once I adjusted them though, smooth sailing. The instructions were easy to follow and for once the pictures weren't the size of postage stamps. The hardware and the wrench were tidy and labeled well. This chair, although not as cushy as the previous one, offers a lot more support; something I need when I'm spending long hours in it. I like that I can adjust the lumbar support and flip the arms up out of the way when I need to be able to pivot and reach other areas of my work surface and not be fighting against them. Office chairs are never sexy, but this does have a nice clean esthetic to it. The casters roll well and the multiple adjustments offered by the chair make it very versatile. For the price this is a real deal. Read more

The chair is easy to put together. Don't make the mistake of attaching the arms to the chair back, they go on the seat portion. It can be a little confusing. Also, watch out for the oil/grease on the center pole of the chair. The chair goes together easily, has the tool for it and the hardware. It goes up and down, rocking mode if you want and can lean back. Mesh backing is great to keep you from overheating and give flexibility if you need it on the back. The lower lumbar pad is adjustable, some chairs this piece is not, but this one it is. The arms do raise up and down, but it is uncomfortable with the arms up. It is great that they move for someone who needs to do a seat transfer. The wheels roll very easily and the weight of the chair is lighter than most office chairs, so it is a bit easier to pick up if you have weight lifting restrictions. I recently received the Shipborne Ergonomic Office Chair, and I am thoroughly impressed with the end-to-end experience. Unboxing and Quality The chair arrived exceptionally well-packaged, ensuring all components were protected during transit. One of the standout features of the unboxing was that every necessary tool and piece of hardware was included. The instructions provided were clear, concise, and easy to follow. Effortless Assembly The assembly process took approximately 30 minutes after a quick sorting of the parts. What made the setup particularly smooth was the precise alignment of the components; every bolt threaded in effortlessly without the need for forced adjustments. Performance and Aesthetics In terms of daily use, the chair excels in both form and function: • Comfort: The ergonomic design provides excellent support for long hours. • Design: It is aesthetically pleasing and fits perfectly in a professional environment. • Functionality: The mechanical lift cylinder operates smoothly for easy height adjustments. Verdict: This is an outstanding seating solution for both home offices and corporate workspaces. Read more

This is a nice, basic office chair from Shipborne. The chair has a fairly comfortable fabric covered seat, a mesh back with adjustable lumbar support, a hydraulic height adjustment and flip-up arm rests. The base is strong and the wheels roll smoothly over wood floor or low-pile, office-type carpet. The chair came with all of the hardware (plus a couple spares) and a small Allen wrench necessary for assembly. That being said, I feel assembly was fairly easy for me only because I’ve had a good bit of experience putting office chairs, computer chairs and gaming chairs together. The included instructions are not well done or very detailed. (Assembly tip: Do not fully tighten the bolts attaching the arm rests to the seat until after installing the mesh back as you need a little ‘play’ with the arms to get the back secured. Once the back is attached, you can go back and fully tighten the other bolts.) While the finished chair is solid and functional, it’s also very basic. It will do the job but, in my opinion, this Shipborne Ergonomic Office Chair is a bit over-priced. There are similar chairs available for $20-$30 less. Read more

It's a basic computer chair, but not the best quality. The arms are thin plastic and the screws/holes don't align well. Comes with instruction manual, screws and tools needed. Takes about 30 minutes to assemble, but having two people is probably easier. We had to brace and squeeze the arm/seat to get the holes lines up - make sure you have the seat facing the correct direction! Once assembled, it felt comfortable enough and the seat had decent cushioning on he firmer side, but after a few days, the left arm started tilting downwards and the seat felt like it was leaning as well. Not worth the time and effort lol, going to donate it. Read more

10 minutes easy assembly gets you an awesome chair! Tip: don't tighten chair armrest screws until the end! I love the cushiony comfort, easy assembly and it rocks real nice!!!! The arms can go up or down and are padded too! The lumbar support makes it feel like a cloud and it rolls around so nicely! The mesh keeps my back from sweating and it's supportive!!! Beautiful classy color mix too with white and gray that goes with any decor! A great value! Highly recommend! Read more
