They slap the word 'gaming' on the chair and make it a fancy 2-toned color that is enticing to gamers, while double the price for a $20 product. Instead of spending hundreds on one of those POS again, I decided to take a gamble on an office chair and hope that my husband could see past the facade of the gaming chair looks. To my surprise, he was extremely pleased with this chair. He loved the looks along with the quality of the chair. It has been well over a year since I have bought this and the chair still feels brand new. Whereas the 'gamer' chairs couldn't even last a few months without starting to fall apart. I was able to put the chair together on my own with the directions provided. It can be adjusted in several places, so it is very customizable to the person.
