This is a very comfortable chair. It adjusts in so many different ways, that you can customize it to your specifications. The head rest is a nice touch, and you can adjust the angle as well as the height to suit your needs (and your height). You can also adjust the angle of the back of the chair by about 20 degrees. The arms can be moved completely out of the way if you need to. The lumbar support moves up and down as well as in and out. The height of the chair can also be adjusted. Like I said, it really gives you customized feel for a fraction of the price. I paid more than 2X the amount of this chair on my current desk chair, and it only moves up and down. I got the white one with the black seat, and it looks very nice. The mesh back breathes so the chair doesn't get so hot, but the seat is plush and super comfortable. Assembly was a bit of a challenge. The directions aren't very clear regarding which screws go where. In fact, the numbers were just plain wrong in some cases, so it became a trial and error sort of situation. Connecting the back to the seat was also problematic and took 3 of us to get the screws placed correctly. There were a few choice words expressed, but we were able to assemble the chair in about 40 minutes. Overall, I am pleased with the chair, and I would recommend it (just try to be patient putting it together as it is worth it in the end). Read more
A couple of issues prevented the 5 star rating. They are; A) 1 of the headrest screws spins upon reaching the end of the thread run. It holds, but it would seem the captive nut is loose. B) alignment of the arm rest supports and the seat bottom was noticeably off for 1 screw on the seat bottom. This resulted in having to remove 1 arm rest support, getting the 4th seat bottom screw in place, then pulling, very hard, on the arm rest support and the seat bottom to get the arm rest support holes to line back up. Also, that 4th seat bottom screw never turned smoothly. It fought the threads all the way. What I like about it; A) it sits higher than my previous chair, which is more comfortable for me as my peak height was 6' 0.5" (I'm old and now fall under the "little" old man phrase, lol). Also, my old chair did not have arm rests. This helps my shoulders when I remove my hands from the keyboard. I work IT and I am mostly remote. SO it makes a noticeable difference to the positive. B) breathable fabric backing. it's not a huge thing, but it is better and noticeable too. Could have been better made, but not too far off. What is really sad is that fit problems are rampant in the chair industry. I've assembled quite a few chairs in my time. This one was a bit more difficult, however I am willing to admit it may have been less difficult for someone 30 years younger (as in how hard I had to push the parts to get alignment). So, in short, some fit issues during assembly, which is very common, comfortable to sit in and takes up less space than my prior chair and both have a 300LB capacity. This one for the win!
