coming in hot with these
at first glance, these boots are so cute and thigh high is exactly what i wanted. other boots on here that have mentioned being thigh high have landed about to the knee but these boots are truly above the knee! the elastic upper portion that is on the calf all the way up to behind the knee in my opinion, is great for the wide calf girlies! I bought the suede boots over the leather looking ones and they did not disappoint! there is a sturdy zipper on the bottom side of the boot above the ankle area to help get them on and it helps greatly. what i found convient to get these on was folding over the top part to slide my foot in and be able to zip them up then pull the top part back over my thigh/knee to get the right height without much wiggling and moving the boot around. the fit of the boot is true to size and plenty roomy inside for wide feet. the platform heel of the boot is also really comfortable, not to high to feel like i am wearing heels and not to low like others that dont provide support. with the rugged outsole of the boot, i can feel comfortable knowing it has slip resistance just like a pair of doc martens. In choosing a size, i chose to size up 1/2 size mainly because i know my legs swell up when im on my feet alot and it made a great difference! i can feel comfortable in these all day and with some high knee or calf socks, they pair perfectly with these boots so i wouldnt feel sweaty from the elastic or in the faux leather option. would definitely buy these again and are great value for your buck.
