I normally wear a size 7.5 but decided to size up to an 8 since I plan on wearing thicker socks while riding, and I’m glad I did. The fit is just right with the added padding, and they feel comfortable without being too snug. If you’re in between sizes or planning for extra warmth, going up a half size is a smart move. The boots are easy to put on thanks to the smooth side zipper, and the ankle buckle detail adds a nice, stylish touch without being too flashy. The low block heel gives just the right amount of height without sacrificing comfort. I’ve walked in them for hours and didn’t feel any discomfort or pressure points. My new favs! Do I wear them to ride my horse to work? No! But I do wear these with my bootcut jeans and slacks and they look and feel awesome. I personally love that these are not super high, but are not totally flat either.I love the visual of the buckle—adds an extra element. All in all these are super comfortable. I was “blessed” with wide feet and therefore cannot tolerate pointy shoes/boots, so tend to go with a rounded or square cut—even so, I’ve still had to return items for comfort reasons. I'm glad these boots popped up in my suggestions! They are so cute, and amazing quality. I love the black color because you can wear them with almost anything. I like that the heal is low so I'm not standing too high. They have a good grippiness to them so I don't have to worry about slipping. There are little pockets on the side of both boots that appear to be for a riding crop, but can be used for other small items. I wish they were stretchy as indicated, but they don't budge. I was able to get them to scrunch and that looks cute. All of the materials are amazing quality. The boots were in supportive protective packaging.
