Pretty good
Edit 2 : Esas changed the formulas without putting anything on the website to say the fragrances are different. I was really fond of the old Neroli Blossom formula. When I contacted the company about my observation / hoping it was a bad batch they explained that they changed the formula and they didn’t offer anything - apology, exchange, etc. If a formula is not the same as the old one, why not change the name so customers know? Or put a note on the page, or update the description’s top notes. This product is too expensive to do all the testing to find a scent I love, I did that once and to need to do it again is frustrating. The company cares a lot about its image, I have seen others comment similar things on their socials and they will publicly offer options. I’m not sure what to think about that they don’t do that when you connect privately. Original review : If you are used to underarm funk, this may need to be reapplied. It’s not a miracle cure, but with consistent persistent use I can see how it could be. I’m going to try another fragrance though because this one is just not my favorite. When I first apply it, I smell like I’ve spent a while in an incense or hippie store. That smell subsides after two hours and what’s left is a scent like my grandfather’s cologne, ya know that classic grandpa cologne smell? It’s that one, which I love it on my grandpa, but if I am wearing a garment that I don’t launder as frequently I prefer a classic deodorant because I really don’t love this fragrance. The sea salt doesn’t really come across. I’m not sure how I envisioned that coming across with essential oils anyway. I intend to try a floral scent next, and am deciding between lavender with cedar and neroli blossom. In a t-shirt on an average day with this scent I can probably go 5-7 hours without any noticeable funk. With a natural deo that’s amazing. Amazing! I do not smell anything outside my pits and no one around me does either (they are honest enough to say!) However, if I do a test swipe and smell or sniff my underarms up close then I will catch a whiff, which means I can’t rewear something or that I need to freshen up and change shirts before bed. My prior daily deo was aluminum free Secret, and with that I can get a full day with a workout and zero smell. Edit : I settled on Neroli blossom. I looked up each of the three top scents in the photo, Neroli (it’s as they say / citrus / floral with health benefits), Bergamot, and Mimosa. Bergamot oil has really interesting health uses and what sells me is 1) it’s commonly used to help pregnant women subside some common pregnancy discomforts like nausea and 2) it’s a top note in my favorite fragrance, Dolce and Gabbana light blue. I’m going clean with natural scents so I miss perfumes, I will be so glad to have a similar scent in a natural option. If you’re not sure how to decide what fragrance, I recommend comparing the top notes in Esas deo options with the top notes in fragrances you recognize and love, as well as considering some of the health benefits of the primary oils in the Esas options. I don’t usually leave such detailed reviews, but since there aren’t many reviews for these on Amazon I thought I would. Read more
