I had to wait a while to get this one delivered but it was worth it. I love this set! The color is the perfect royal blue. I could have worn a small (I’m 5’2” and 144# for reference) but got the medium so the skirt would be a little longer. It fits great! It’s lightweight, soft, and perfect for summer in the south GA heat & humidity. Please note this is not a skirt. It’s a skirt but I just wear my biker shorts underneath. I’m not a fan of this outfit. I got it because I liked the rose red color that was pictured, but in real life it’s more of a plain pink…Everything about this is plain, actually. It’s a HUGE standard t-shirt and a very plain matching skirt. This outfit is boxy and not flattering on me, and the price feels outrageous for what you get. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of this set. The shirt is quite shapeless and is clearly designed to be very wide. While the color is accurate and the fabric feels nice, a bit thicker than standard t-shirt material, the overall fit and look just did not work for me. Wearing the pieces together did not look flattering. The hem on the skirt feels cheap, and it lacks any movement or flow. It is not one of those flirty or swingy skirts, and the bottom curls up slightly because of how it is finished. It has an eighties-inspired vibe, which I normally love, but in this case, the execution fell flat. I even tried tying a knot at the waist to give the shirt more shape, but it still felt off. Unless you have one of those vintage eighties t-shirt clips to wear on the side, it just does not do anything for the figure. I also tried tucking it in, but the elastic waistband made that look bulky and awkward. You can even see in my photos the wrinkles from where I tried tying the shirt. Maybe the black version would have looked better, but the green was a miss for me. I also wonder if it would look better on someone bustier. I am still going to try adding a belt to bring some shape to the waist, but overall, I do not plan on wearing this as is. Read more
