Such a nice machine. Good quality and look Very functional, works good and fast. Great hot coffee. My husband as a former coffee shop manager loved it. Good price for such a fantastic coffee maker. Also it's easy to clean because of the good steel material. It's not huge and does not take my full kitchen. I highly recommend it. Read more

It is an excellent machine overall! Would recommend to any coffee lover looking for hometown café style coffee. Pros: The espresso I brew is amazing even with the generic espresso pre-grind I bought to try out with this. It is fairly compact so it doesn't take up too much space on the counter, leaving me room for my syrups, milk pitchers, etc. Very lightweight and easy to move around as I see fit. Instructions are very thorough and easy to read, showing you step-by-step pictures and captions telling you how to brew, pre-heat, etc. Comes with a little thing of coffee recipes for you to try, all very tasty ideas! On the side of the machine they give you a QR code with a site with coffee recipes, user help, and more!! Cute retro design that gives it that authentic Italian stylization. The pressure gauge shows you clearly which temperatures are good for steaming and which are good for brewing espresso. First time use was extremely easy and the instructions were very clear on how you should set it up and pre-heat. Extremely good for price, probably the same if not better than some of the ones that are asking for 50 dollars more! Cons: With the size and lightweight design it can be a bit of an awkward struggle when it comes to taking the ports filter out, you have to hold down on it tightly to keep it from completely moving and even then it will still move. I very much like the height and the weight of the machine, but it doesn't hold that much water to where it feels like I am always refilling it, to be fair I make a couple drinks for me and my family so that could be why. It says that the top can be used as a cup warmer, but I wouldn't attempt to do that unless you have a smaller cup. The top of it is rounded so really you can only put a cup on there if the bottom is more small. Read more

I bought this item based on some other reviews, the attractive price and the cool retro styling. I am impressed by the QUALITY and functionality. I can extract a lot of flavor from less coffee than other machines I owned. The build and materials are substantial. It feels luxury. The directions included are clear and correct. I have owned Keurig machines that didn't deliver like this one does. It is quiet during brewing. The steam/frothing is pretty much like others so expect some sound. As they explain, you get some thin jets of water while it builds steam pressure, so I just use a separate cup to draw that off until it's sputtering. This avoids watering-down the milk. But it gives me EXCELLENT cappuccinos from the robust, crema-laden shots of coffee. Incredibly nice unit. REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS! Read more

Good value for the money. My only concern is that it doesn't seem to put out much volume of liquid. Maybe 1-2 oz is the standard for espresso shots but it seems like a lot of work for such a small amount of liquid. The taste is great, however, it's easy to use and clean. Size doesn't take up too much room on the counter. I use it when I need caffeine quickly and don't have time to make and sit there drinking a whole mug of regular strength coffee. I'm too lazy to steam the milk usually for a hot latte, so I usually just put regular milk and ice. It heats up quickly and is ready to make coffee before I even have the grounds prepared. Holds quite a bit of water so you're not constantly having to refill the water compartment. Overall I'm satisfied. Read more

Loved this machine!! Then it began leaking when I went to use the frothier (just before the return period expired). The owners manual was fantastic. The machine was quiet, quick, easy to use and made great drinks. I made a lot of drinks before the leak showed up. Just waiting for the return to process so I can get another one just like it. Tips I learned; get a good coffee grinder. This improved the espresso a lot. A portafilter puck helped as well and also a tamper & a collar.. You’ll be good to go!!! Leaks can happen with these things. Until then it was an absolute fantastic bargain and did a wonderful job. I actually miss the machine and wish they had one in stock at the time. I also have a Delonghi esam3300. The water pump went out and it grew from there, then the new pump pressure caused a line leak and it went on from there. A chain of events that has cost $300 on new parts and now the grinder isn’t putting out coffee. I gave up & got this XIXUBX for less than I paid just for the generator on the Delonghi. This XIXUBX is a bargain and it was doing a wonderful. Read more

This 20‑bar machine delivers a surprisingly rich, smooth shot with great crema. It heats up fast, the temperature control is consistent, and the steam wand froths milk beautifully for lattes and cappuccinos. Compact enough for any counter but feels like a real upgrade from basic budget models. A great gift for any coffee lover and an easy win for daily home espresso. Read more
