My family of older teens LOVE this machine. It is good quality and easy to use. Not only are we saving $$ by making nice drinks at home…They taste WAY better. It was not difficult to learn to use and we do a quick wipe after each use. I have always loved a “dirty chai.” I can make one in less than 3 minutes total and it’s exactly the way I want it. This Ambrista espresso machine is exactly what I wanted. It looks great on the counter — clean, modern, not bulky — and I actually don’t mind leaving it out. It’s also very easy to use. Question: Does the brewed coffee comes in contact with plastic? I asked Rufus several different ways if the Hot Coffee comes in contact with plastic. Rufus: Good question! The AMBRISTA Espresso Machine is built with stainless steel for all brewing components, so hot coffee does not come into direct contact with plastic during the brewing process. THIS IS A LIE! There is plastic in the bottom of the portafiler. I spent a good hour reaching a Espresso Machine that did not contact plastic in the brewing process, and it really pisses me off when a company lies about their product.
