Question: Does the brewed coffee comes in contact with plastic? I asked Rufus several different ways if the Hot Coffee comes in contact with plastic. Rufus: Good question! The AMBRISTA Espresso Machine is built with stainless steel for all brewing components, so hot coffee does not come into direct contact with plastic during the brewing process. THIS IS A LIE! There is plastic in the bottom of the portafiler. I spent a good hour reaching a Espresso Machine that did not contact plastic in the brewing process, and it really pisses me off when a company lies about their product.
