I spent a lot of time looking for a protective case for my new Air Pods Pro 3. I was surprised to discover there aren’t many available yet (the Air Pods Pro 3 were just released last month). I found some I liked, but reviews on many said the top comes off easily, and or the fit wasn’t right. (The Air Pods Pro 3 are definitely just a bit too big to go in an Air Pods Pro 2 case.) The reviews on this product said it was strong and the case fit well, so I got it. I chose purple. When it arrived my first thought was, the purple color is a really nice, warm, eggplant type shade. When I lifted it from the packaging, I was struck by the cool design and the soft texture of the case. The Air Pods Pro 3 charging case fits inside snuggly inside. The top isn’t coming off. My AirPods make that little chime when charging starts, and I can still hear it clearly through the case. That tells me the Find My feature should also work just fine if I ever misplace them. The only minor thing I’d change? I’d prefer if the little notch for the carabiner clip wasn’t there, just to make the profile even more streamlined. But honestly, that’s such a small detail—and the pros massively outweigh that one tiny con. Bottom line: this case is an absolute beast.
