This product fits the bill perfectly. I really appreciate the functionality of the case locking mechanism. It latches closed securely and it is very simple to open. This keeps the lid from falling off those with our this feature are prone to do from time to time. The case itself is good looking and appears to be very durable. Lastly, I like that opening is pretty much a one hand operation. When you activate the opening switch, the lid springs open mostly on it's own. This case is great, very well made & will protect my Air Pods case from pretty much anything. It's mag charge compatible & my Air Pods case charges up very quickly even with the ESR case on. Nice light charge indicator light on the front & the thumb lock means that my case won't come out & go flying across the floor should I drop it, the carabiner is also a nice touch & allows me to attach the case to various items so I don't have to carry the case. I rarely write reviews, but the ESR case is awesome. It will hold itself closed extremely well, even if you drop it. Other cases will absolutely open, but this one never has for me. It is also effortless to operate. Strong magnets hold it closed, and when you slide the bar to open it, the magnets actually push the top of the case open. Great engineering. I couldn't ask for more.
