This is the best magsafe phone car mount and charger in my opinion. It ensures your phone will not overheat during charging and the magnet is strong enough to hold your phone in place while driving even through bumpy roads. I haven’t tried off roading but i have driven through a gravel road and my phone has not fallen off. This version is 7.5 watts and there is a 15 watts version but that costs three times more so i got this one because you get more value for your money. It is easy to install whether you use the adhesive stand and the vent stand. My wife wanted to try it so i installed it in her car and now she doesn’t want to give it back and i just bought another one haha. It is not heavy and fits most car vents as it fit both my car and my wife’s. The build seems sturdy and i don’t think it’s going to break anytime soon. I was worried the fan might be loud but i don’t seem to hear it even if i don’t play music in the car. I highly recommend this for people who don’t want to bother with setting up your phone and messing with wires every time you get in the car. Great car charger with built in cooling and high power! I was so sick of losing power on my built in charging pad in my vehicles due to the extreme heat from running Android Auto. This charger fixes all of that, helping me recharge on the go while still using the feature I want. Quick easy installation with a long cord for any routing that you want. Completely compatible with the new Pixel snap ecosystem!! I don't know about durability yet as I've only had it a few weeks, but it seems like it should hold up fine. I will start by letting you know what I have for equipment: Pixel 7 Pro, a Moment Magsafe case, and a OhSnap! 3.0 holding device (like a Magsafe compatible pop socket). I've told you all of that to tell you that I have not been able to get this device to consistently charge my phone and I really wanted this to work. I first tried it with the case alone . The phone snapped right into place and it indicated that it was charging but then it would indicate that it wasn't and this continued to happen intermittently, but with great regularity . Then I put the OhSnap device on the phone. It too snapped right into place and the same thing happened. I even went as far as to order another Halolock to see if it was just a faulty device...it wasn't, the same thing happened. I've since gotten a similar, but different device that works with my set up. I'm willing to give the ESR Halolock with Cryoboost the benefit of the doubt and say it just wasn't able to play well with my set up. This is a really nice charger. It's super sturdy. The magnets firmly connect it to the phone. The vent clip is the best I've ever used and easy to place. It's really well designed and holds the phone firmly in place. . The fan blowing is barely audible. While I'm talking about the fan, I'll say it's an interesting concept and was partly responsible for me buying it to begin with, but I'm not sure it has any real benefit. It doesn't seem strong enough to keep the phone from heating up. If it worked with my set up, I probably would have kept it despite my disbelief in the cooling effect. That said, I'm not at all disappointed that my new magnetic car charger doesn't have "cryoboost". Despite the fact that I couldn't get this to reliably charge my phone, I think due to some incompatibility between the Halolock and my Moment case, I would recommend it...which is saying a lot, all things considered! Great charger with a fan to keep the phone cool while charging. It’s definitely been my favorite charger so far out of many I have had over the years. Mine did break a few days shy of the 1 year warranty. I was hesitant to reach out to the company but, to my surprise, they responded quickly and sent me a replacement within a couple of days. It’s so rare to receive that level of customer service from any company. Sturdiness: Holds position well. Magnet strength: Phone is secure and has never fallen off while driving g.
